We tested the laterial strength of Fence Bullet pipe connectors using a 22 ton log spliter. Posts moved and oil field pipe stem bent but the connectors are still intact and working.

No, that is for a pair of connectors. Compare that to welding. I don't know a welder that will smile at you for $20 plus he might not be able to do the job if your in a burn ban. There are lots of other advantages over welding. They can be moved and reused or adjusted. Used in a lot of remote locations. Huge time savings and no skilled labor. No expensive equipment and consumable supplies. Might rethink who's crazy.

on the corner bands they are made for 90 degree angle, can it be bent to make a 45 degree angle ?
We can weld tabs at whatever angle is needed for custom applications. This is not practical exceopt for large orders. The easiest way to acheive any change of direction is using a one-way bands on the turn post. So for a off angle H brace corner just order 2 H brace kits. They will be stacked on the corner poost so they will not be inline on each side, but it will allow you to make an angle needed. Hope this helps.

This saved me having to cut pipe with a torch and having to weld which takes quite a bit of time for each post. ad 40 post and it would take forever. If you have a torch and welder already and the time then I would go with welding. but this is just as good.

Great idea but at 17+ bucks for one. It cheaper to weld it.
Nope, that's per pair, you get two. One pair will make one brace. Add in about $1/ ft for pipe and I can build a H brace for $41. Can't touch a welded one for that plus the time saved, no expensive equipment and no fire danger.
I like it. Wish I had seen this sooner. Will give it a try on next fence project.

Less expensive than a couple of welding rods?
What? you have a free welder, torches and gas? Free skilled labor? and lots of time? Reports are coming in that Fence Bullets are about 1/2 the cost of hired welding let alone the other advantages. I challenge you to look at all the costs. Fence Bullets have the advantage of needing only end wrenches to assemble, much faster and easier, no skills, no fire, no waiting on a welder get out of the way to stretch wire, no stopping projects in Burn Bans and able to install anywhere you can walk to! With that said, I know everyone's situation is different and welding is a must in some situations.
