I had two Deauvilles and absolutely loved them, only went to something else for medical reasons. 😏

My only experience with the Deauville was a loan bike I had in 2004 ish when my Hornet 900 was in for 1st service. My partner loved its comfort and nicknamed it "The Bus" 😊

I had a Deauville the same colour and I wish I'd never got rid of it. You don't see many second hand nowadays but if a good one came up I'd be very tempted to buy back in. Thanks for a great video which brought back happy memories of Deauville riding.

Somewhere in a lay-by near Barrow on Furness around 2009 I discovered the greasiest roadside chuck wagon ever. A thin girl coated in grease using an old gas cooker in what I think was a gutted out caravan. A fleet of parked up builders vans and council wagons was testament to the quality of her cooking!!

Enjoying this, pissing rain here for the last two days so no motorcycling for me. For years I scoffed at deauvilles, then I bought one I'm impressed by its versatility on all road types !
