I know it, I hate that for ya'll over there!! to be honest, I don't think I would hardly buy a thing if I wasn't comfortable to know that if it doesn't work for me I can get my money back AND I think that is a big reason why I also refrain from shopping from indie brands for makeup bc they often won't offer that either so I won't offer them my money lol

@ I honestly don’t know anyone who would take the makeup back once it’s been used . It’s unhygienic I’d feel awkward about returning it

Yes that is why by law it has to be thrown away, not resold so yes product gets wasted but the companies have to account for a certain amount of returns bc the customers get the mo way back here thankfully

@ blows my mind how it’s ok to do that from country to country but in the UK even if you have changed your mind on say an eyeshadow palette without using it they have a problem with you returning the product

😍🎉 I am so happy to hear that you love the Sephora brushes! They are really amazing and tbh they are my most favorite synthetic brushes! I actually did have the Nars light reflecting foundation in Fiji it was a tad too light but workable for me - I loved it until about halfway through the bottle, it started to show a lot of cracking around my mouth. I may try it agin w the danessa myricks balm as a primer and it may work better that way for me bc it was perfect aside that from that :) it was a beautiful finish everywhere else 🙂

@@michellenmakeup It really is all about the skin underneath unfortunately isn’t it and depending on what moisturiser or primer it can be so tricky. My mouth area can be a real problem area with foundations just because of my retinol use I think, so I tend to go very light over that area. It really does make a difference when you pay attention to dates. Even if the product looks ok. It's worth it to do! I used to NOT be like that until my skin started to suffer for it so now I just can't play w that mess at all lol I hope you are having a great Twixmas Week lol I hear that is what they call this week between Christmas and New Years when none of us know what day it is for like a week HAHA

@michellenmakeup it's great that we both know when or when not to use makeup and that we take care of our skin. I have never heard of Twixmas. I did a Twix about an hour ago, though 😆

Yes they do tend to use lower end ingredients And tbh i think boredom at the grocery store is how I keep getting sucked into it 😂 I prefer high end and always have!
