Townscaped features captured snapshots of City, Town and Village life across the UK presented as a series of audio-clips accompanied by a slideshow of their location.

I wanted to do this as it is often the ambient sounds and accents of a place that give it it full character and I think these often take second place to the imagery of video.

(P.S. The idea came to me while waiting for a bus at Ilkeston Market (Derbyshire) so it was a spur-of-the-moment thing using just what I had to hand. I captured the sound and took pictures using my phone (Moto G) and later edited the sound in Goldwave and compiled the video in Adobe Premier Elements.)

If anyone thinks this is a worthy venture I will do more and perhaps use better equipment which luckily I already own. Enjoy.
