My female cat is 1yr old she's in heat and it's her 4th day also i can see loss of appetite in her so after 3 more days i'll take her to vet and neuter her as i don't want her to go through this pain and also we don't want a big cat family !!

Kitty-in-heat may be manually relieved by a pressure point on either side of the tail. Search youtube for "how to soothe cat in heat pressure point." Look at which way her tail lays when she presents her rump for mounting. Pressing firmly, not painfully, on the opposite side of the tail (e.g. if her tail lays to the right, press to the left) for 30-60 seconds may provide a few hours of relief. You may be bit, which is normal behavior, after she has been mated. I had to do this when my rescue kitten went into heat 2 weeks before her spay surgery. Vets are busy during kitten season.

A vet can give something to calm them down. Also lavendar works well on cats to calm them down and chill them out. But the best thing for your cats health is to SPAY her!

Please do not do this to your cats they have a vulnerable spot that you should not be touching witch is their stomach, if you are not careful and touch that area they can start to be aggressive with you and not trust you! When your cat is in heat I recommend to give them a comfortable place for them to rest but make sure that the resting place is warm,and you should be very gentle with them if you are not they can feel threatened,unpleased,or not safe. Make sure they have a clean litter box if the litter box is not cleaned they can feel overwhelmed and pee on places like your bed,blanket,couch and lots of others. If your cat is moving around a lot that means they are in pain, if they are make human noises or deep howling noises relax them by petting/scratching in between their ears and play with them when they are playful. I'm glad to hear this cat has been spayed. Let me be mean: if you don't spay/neuter your pets, youre a bad owner. Either you're breeder, in which case: screw you, or you're an idiot, in which case: screw you. Spay and neuter your pets. You're taking a responsibility for that animal and it's in distress because of your inaction. It's fine if you can't do that at the moment because the animal has failing health or whatever, but if it's not, it's your responsibility to help your pet.

My almost-10 month kitten just started her cycle this month. She has become extremely affectionate and keeps headbutting no matter what I do. Lots of trilling and “presenting”. She seems to like to lay on the heated blanket, and that slows/stops the episodes of amorous behavior. I don’t know what else to do until her spay appointment comes around…

The worst part is they try to piss in certain Areas to let male cats know her scent of urine. Mine pissed on my bed once and then she did it mutliple times, i couldn't even let her in my room for 1 minute or otherwise she would immediately piss on my bed
