Dr. Smith was the best part of the show. Guy Williams would have felt more comfortable had he been on Star Trek instead. Lost in Space was popular because like Batman it was "Campy". For years Billy Mumy had a serious crush on Angela Cartwright. The actors were scared of Will. They were afraid he would cast them into the cornfield. (Twilight Zone, also CBS haha. It's too bad NBC wasn't as generous funding Star Trek as CBS was on Lost in Space.

NASA wouild after all they filmed the landing on the moon on a "set" too. haha

Thank you for producing this video. Although I only watched the television series in reruns, it had quite an influence on my perspectives and was part of what made me who I am. And I'm pretty happy with the man that I have become.

What many people don't realize (& I learned when working for Prestige Bridal & Pageant), is there's quite a difference in how makeup is applied that's determined on whether the photos are to be color or black & white. The same applies for movies that are originally filmed in black & white or color. So, the lawsuits are about more than it appears on the surface to a lay person.
