Late upload but thank you for waiting! I had to re-record the Q&A section and also had second thoughts about being transparent with my art journey. Going through a burnout to the point of wanting to quit art entirely feels like a crime, after having known only art my entire life. I hope this doesn’t come across as me being ungrateful with being able to pursue art at all, as I’m always dedicated to making the best of my craft. But I think it’s to that point of striving for perfection with imposter syndrome (along with negative emotions tied to making the craft) that made me hit a new low for the first time. I guess I just wanted to share my experience of going through that period of emptiness, having felt that I lost my identity as an artist. I know now that art can come in so many forms, not just in the world of animation, but also comforting art.
