Catskills Winter Backpacking - North Point and Stoppel Point Plane Crash Site
Join me and my brother on a 2-night backpacking trip in New York's Catskill Mountains. We started at the Scutt road trailhead and set up camp atop North Mountain. We didn't hike as much as we normally would on a backpacking trip, opting to relax more at camp and enjoy the NFL Wildcard games. Go Bills!

Join us on our 4 day backpacking trip along the Pemigewasset Loop. This loop is one of the most famous and challeging loop trail in the United States. Located in the White Mountains in New Hampshire, this trail is nearly 32 miles in length with nearly 10,000 feet in elevation gain.

    The sound I heard was closer to a laser. In the moment, my mind thought it was either the ice expanding or aliens shooting at me 👽.

      Nice! It didn’t snow in CT/MA for the first 3 years since I purchased them, and the time I needed them the most (West VA) I left them in the car!

    They put the boards on the back deck too close together and when they freeze it sounds like a gunshot. Almost shit myself a couple times! I can imagine the lake too! 😂

    Phelps I've done twice and was my 17th High Peak Tabletop I've done once it was my 20th Algonquin I've done twice it was my 4th High Peak Marcy I've done twice it was my 3rd High Peak and Skylight was my 10th High Peak and Gray was my 9th High Peak I've done twice they were involved with my 21 hour hike last year I did them alongside Redfield who was my 8th High Peak(I've done Redfield 6 times now) and Haystack who was my 11th I plan to do another hike on really soon

      Thanks! You’re spot on. I attempted the nearby Pemi loop exactly 2 years prior to this trip and I recall that the Presidential range was hit with a pretty bad blizzard. I certainly lucked out with the weather this trip!
