what does the + AI mod adds to the 1.13? i have 1.13 but dont know how to add the AI thing. please show a step by step if u can. cheers.

You can change the game start options which are not accessible in the ini files, like soft iron man, with a hex editor, i only found a way to do it in ram, in case the instruction: Start a new game with default start options and save instantly, repeat to create more saves, each with one of the options set different. Open the saves with a hex editor like HxD and compare each with the 1st "reference" save, most if not all differences in game options are stored in a string of a few bytes at an offset near the beginning, note the offset range and identify which byte is responsible for the soft iron man switch. No open a save of your actual soft IM run with the hex editor and copy the string at the determined offset to clipboard, laod the save in game, tab to the hex editor, select to open the ram of a running application and select JA2.exe, hit CTRL+F and paste the string from clipboard, change the soft IM byte to desired value, save chages in RAM, tab back to game and save, from now on soft IM (etc) is off.

When you have a first aid kit in the main hand, you can just right click to activate healing cursor.
