    Was the cakes frozen before you put the buttercream on? Was it frozen when you put it outside? 😮 what icing did you use and it’s recipe ingredients? Good on you for doing the trial best of luck moving forward ✌🏾

    Since the layers are frozen, when they start to thaw, doesn’t it mass with buttercream?

      Nope! After you frost the frozen layers, put the cake in the fridge to allow it to transition from the frozen temp to the fridge temp. It will mess with the buttercream if you were to take it from the freezer and leave it on the counter at room temperature

    When your cake came to room temp while carving the first hear You could have placed the cake in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes then continue carving.

    Thanks for sharing the process. I love that you show the mistakes as well, I'm learning from them. You did a great job🎉. I would have rounded the edges a bit so az to give it more of a curvy finish. Sort of like a 3d emoji 🖤 kind of vibe... Overall thank so much for the tutorial. This was very helpful and I learned a lot.

      Hey love! I used non pareils from Michaels any color will work but I prefer white or yellow. Any luster dust should work with this. Mine was from a company called GCC sprinkles!

      You’re welcome! Yes they can definitely be refrigerated. I would make them no more than 3 days in advance

      I would only make them about 2 days in advance and store them in a cool area. If you make them too far in advance then the color of the chocolate will start to fade

    Thanks for the tutorial. Please can you tell me how to stop your buttercream cake bulging on the side. After around the two hour of being at room temperature is starts to bulging

      Of course! Honestly, it’s really difficult to prevent bulging or “cake farts” once you cake comes to room temperature. As your cakes transitions from cold to room temperature your cake layers begin to settle and release air which causes the bulging. This is apart of gravity. What I can suggest is to make sure that when you’re assembling your cake that you are filling in any gaps to reduce the amount of air that can escape aa your cake settles. I hope this makes sense 💕
