This video is not to pick favorites or to talk smack on either company. This video is to show what both riggins look like, cost breakdown and pros and cons. I pulled all my information off of both companies websites. Everything covered in this video is my opinion based off of my experience.

    Confused? after all the wrapping. Are you medical sport wrapping certified? some specific wrapping within the joints needs specific care. or you will damage those joints. Also,after the wraps, can you show me how the wrap works on the horse please.Thanks!

    Hello, I'm 26 and curious about getting into this sport. I've always had interest in rodeo but never felt I had the capability or opportunity until learning more about the sport recently, and given my location in the cowboy state I might even be able to find help in achieving this. Your videos are helping me see that though I am late to the game so to speak I am physically and mentally capable to give this a real shot. Thank you for putting as much information as possible in these videos and helping those of us who who are new to the sport and want to give it a genuine shot

    • @andrewchandler9305
      @andrewchandler9305 Рік тому

      I fixed that by spending a lot of time on the spur board making it a point to keep my toes out. My teacher told me that under pressure you sink to the level of your training. Just repetition and muscle memory man. Good luck!

    Another tip is on horse that stalls. Most every time a horse stalls when gate swings open is because the gate opened and the side he refused to look at things going on with. Like a strong right eyed horse that has only being looking at everything going on with just that one eye and the the chute opens on his left side the eye he has refused to use...bam he just stands there not moving because he has yet tried to look at anything other than with his right eye because he has continually only used that one eye usually with his head up and over the gate on that side or backside of chute.

  • @jimmycleveland7061
    @jimmycleveland7061 2 роки тому

    Very good chute procedure...only thing I would add it get horse to see you with both eyes..get him to notice you with left eye and also notice you with right...that way you have untracked your horse. Good reason to do this alot of horses will only use one eye which will be their dominant lead...strong left eye never uses the right to see you can bet the bank he leaves chute on left lead and only want to circle left or just buck straight. After 46 years of riding bares I always got horse to notice me on his back with both eyes this will give you the best trip out of a horse because he will be more willing to buck using either left or right lead. The horse that never see you with both eyes will most always stay of the strong eye lead and refuse to ever use the opposite lead unless forced to like bucking into a corner. Your best trip will always come from a horse you took the time to "untrack" meaning see things using both eyes instead of just one. Trust me on this because I always got the best trip out a horse by doing this. Another trip is dominant eye use to to your advantage..meaning stronger left eye means left footed or near side strong meaning he will circle to the left on his own or motion pickup men to circle him left for you...right eye dominate means circle to right more willing. Just a pointer I hope helps it never failed me.

    This is nice work on the type glove they ride now there should be no reason to ever buck off.....

  • @jimmycleveland7061
    @jimmycleveland7061 2 роки тому

    For what it's worth I started the lace-up glove but it was like a bowlers wrest support that laced around the wrest.. Then again everything I did was copied expect for football shaped holes in my spur rowels....finger tape, tying or blocking Latigos all this was outlawed but now trying yourself on is allowed! Don't make sense but then again they manage to outlaw most everything I did including dropped Dee's which makes no sense at all because it gives you the ability to pull a looser rig because it doesn't get real tight until you rear back and pull rigging back. Now you have to cut a horse into to keep rig from rolling or moving...just my two cents but heck what would I know about riding bares.

    Please keep making videos bud, your equipment tutorials are on par. Every video you’ve made is very informative and all the little things you include such as the importance of horsemanship in the chute adds up to a very big deal that most people will ignore or don’t care enough to do the right way, you’re a good role model and teacher for many young people starting off in the event.
