Abandoned Places
Переглядів 343 роки тому
„Abandoned Places“ - I had this concept in mind, inspired by a post-apocalyptic video game, of filming otherwise busy places in moments where there is no one around so it would look quite lost and lonely. So when i was in Lugano last spring i was lucky and managed to do numerous of „abandoned“ shots.

    Can anyone advise on how to crossfade the sample loop within metaphysical function? I'm getting lots of pops as it plays round again and its so hard to microadjust timings on that little loop window. Is there something obvious I'm missing?

    This track bring me memories. I remember that time when i discover a lot of ambient music in a page called Jamendo, and remember listen to this track through 2010 or 2011. Surprisigly is here too! I don't know what the intended porpuse of this music, but i use it for the very long bus trips to my school, with my lost gaze and my empty mind looking throught the window. I love that feeling

      Wow Aaron, that is such a precious compliment. And yes, thats exactly the purpose of my ambient tracks. Long trips on bus or train, waiting situations or meditation. Moments, when you want to clear your head or just stare into the world and let your thoughts run free or aimply as soundtrack for certain moods. So I am very glad to hear this from you, thanks a lot! You made my day ❤️

    Probably the best thing about reactor is the technically speaking .. We can build our own VST effects or instruments + we can make our own custom UI . i will give reactor extra points for creative. And not limiting the creator's . But it has a lot of learning curves to cover .. Yes the blocks make it easy and the fact that we can modify already existing instruments and effect's it's also a big Time sever but still

    • @askalbosch
      @askalbosch 5 років тому

      Glad you enjoyed. I use the Launch Control Editor and adress every single CC-Value to a specific controler. Then you have to program Reaktor to respond to those CC-values and you´re good to go. Takes some time though.
