3:40 What’s going on here: The way the troop & hero AI decides which building to attack next is it looks at the three closest buildings, determines which one is the easiest to get to, and targets that building. So, where the barbarian king was when he destroyed the wizard tower, the air defence, elixer storage, and elixer collector were the three closest buildings, and since the air defence and elixer storage were across a wall that would need to be broken, the king went for the elixer collector. Unfortunately, the archer tower was not on the list of 3 closest buildings for the king to target. I’m a TH15 now :) I immediately used a hammer of building to upgrade the Eagle to level 6, here’s what my builders are currently doing: upgrading the Minion Prince to level 56, upgrading the Town Hall weapon to level 2, upgrading a cannon (to the max level! This is the last time I’ll ever upgrade that cannon. I find that pretty crazy), upgrading the laboratory, upgrading the blacksmith, and building one of the spell towers. I would build the Monolith, but am currently short about 100k Dark Elixer.

Hey Matt you got my tips for me in th7 like what wall level I should get or what like troops I should train and what level my gold, elixir storage or collectors should be cuz when I went to th7 I rushed th6 cuz I didn’t know now I am getting destroyed in battle and just tell me overall what buildings I should upgrade to so I’ll be prepared for th8. Your goal is TH16 by end of the year? That’s mine too! Kind of random thing, I REALLY love my current base, I made it myself and it’s, like, the WORST THING EVER to try to use sneaky goblins on (case in point, while watching this video I got attacked by someone using a full army of 100 sneaky goblins, they got 8% destruction and ≈1/4 my available loot. In addition, because of how I designed my town hall & traps, despite being on the very edge of the base, it still often takes 20-30 sneaky goblins to get.) as well as my base generally performs well in general defense. Base progress update: 2.7 million more gold until the 11 day countdown to TH15 begins. Update: 1.9 million gold remains. Update 2: 1.2 million gold remains. (yes I used a training potion to grind out attacking for this final bit of loot) Update 3: Got attacked and lost some loot, but made it back plus a little more in my most recent attack. 1 million gold remains. Update 4: It is done. 11 days until TH15.

Refreshing to see someone with the same town hall as me and not all these maxed out bases that is seen in the youtube clash scene. Only thing I suggest is doing the keep assigned button for the apprentices, especially for the lab one, the builder can fluctuate for me so I don't tend to do it for him. Good stuff though.

I’ve been using the same layout (with slight modifications in the position of builder huts) since TH13. I’m also noticing you have 2000 gems, you could probably upgrade the lab assistant or builder’s apprentice some.
