yeah but it's better to have a look on "1.8T" or "2.0" engines, if you prefer diesels "1.9TDI" or "2.0TDI".
1.8t is great, bus has complicated vacuum system , valves etc And 2.0 is known for eating shitload of oil

how is gas consumption
As usual, a Touareg 2.5TDI should consume aprox. 10L per 100km. But, because this car has Stage 1, the fuel consumption should be higher.

I have just bought exactly the same car from 2001.. but it had only 35 000 km (!!!). Can it last another 10 years? PLease comment. Thanks!
Skoda made really good engines. If you keep it in good shape, it will last 10 years for sure.
