Hate gang............
Whats the nax speed?
The machine says it can throw up to 54mph. I have never put it on a radar to double check. It would be pretty close to that based off visual.
Keep your back straight bubba
Don’t round your back on the eccentric movement so much. You will prevent trap/neck/shoulder issues.
How gar does it go?
On a little league size field (200 fence) it makes it to the middle of the outfield.
Lets hope he's not the only one putting in the work
It is a family activity, so we all are putting in the work! Great family time!
Glad to see younger generations doing this, don’t want no sissy’s. He will 100% thank you later and this father-son bonding is AWESOME!!!
Thanks, it's all about building a strong foundation
Instead of having him go to the gym with you have him do calisthenics at home like 100-300 push-ups and sit ups a day and get him a pull up bar and a dip bar so he can also workout those muscles and get him a forearm grip trainer it worked great for me when I was his age it got me strong
He is building his foundation with form controlled exercises. Once he is stronger doing 100-300 push up could be possible, but not at this time.
Thank you for your videos , just discovered them , back to coaching my daughter’s Tee ball team and had to remember these style lessons for the young kiddos !! Appreciate it
So glad it helps!
Dropping the elbow keep at it buster
Thank you. I signed up my 3yo for TBall and we will work on this
That is a fun age. Be patient, the drills you start at 3 and 4 really pay off at 5 and 6. Have fun
**Bats out HELMETS OUT** Was showing my 3 1/2 yr old daughter video and she's asking why doesn't he have a helmet on mom
Very good rule and observation. Off the tee I don't always get the helmet, but I should.
I played baseball majority of my life and have retired from my playing days and it’s my turn to teach my kids the sport I enjoyed playing. I was professionally trained for 4 years in HS and went to play ball in college and I can say after watching this video I believe it’s a good starting video and good tips for anyone learning and wanting to be a tball coach or just wanna help your kid get better. The bat on the shoulders is a great tip and not trying to ask a 4-5 year old to keep your elbow up and focusing on the hips turning rather then the arms doing the moving is also a great tip well done sir
Thank you for the compliment I enjoy hearing from other coaches and parents. Hope y'all have a great season.
thank you my guy. my 5yo just go in his tball team. im def trying this drill out tomorrow
Good luck. Hope y'all have a great season. Enjoy the ride that is TBall.
What is the name of this bat?. I really enjoy your videos. Keep it up . Thanks
That is the Sweet Spot Trainer. They sell them at Dicks Sporting goods and Academy Sports.
if dont set the pin to the max 11 on foot pedal say 10-9 ; do you find that it gives you more of higher pop fly ? I will be using the setup today , I agree with what you said , we are also starting out D4 today kid pitch and figured why not use the blue flame for some popflys , its just sitting in the trunk of my car anyways .
@@robertanaya8262 I didn't try it at 9 or 10 but I might.
I had the hardest time getting the pitch to stay in the same spot each time with this machine. Still figuring it out. No matter what I did, the pitch moved right little by little until it wants to hit the batter. Still many more things I can try to do. Just need more time with it.
Time is the key. After each pitch double check the rear leg position to make sure it didn't move. Just a thought
Great video, great drills!
Thank you!
Cool video thanks for the ideas!
Thank you! And your welcome!
Do you have to stake this machine down or can you use it without putting those two pins n the ground?
It can be used without the pins, but the stability with the pins in helps tremendously.

My son was just gave one he is in 6u and otw to state here in SC
Have fun!
Idk bout all this. Love the kid coaches tho. Takes a lot of patience. Thanks for trying to help our kids buddy. 😊
No worries!
New subscriber here👋. Great video and looking forward to using your videos to help my son!
Happy to be of help!
1st year coach. Thank you for the information.
Good luck!
Time to introduce the 101 mph fastball
Goals are great!
Thanks for the video!
You are welcome! Thanks for watching!
@@coachscornerWellshow often are you doing hitting drills with your sons. My daughter is in Tball.
Tball team practices only once a week. As a family we try to get out once a week more, but we slow down in the summer due to the Florida heat.
Thanks so much for these videos. Im trying to teach my son hitting, and everything i find online goes into more complex hitting drills, but this video is exactly what i needed! The most basic hitting instructions for somebody just starting out. Thank you so much!
Glad you found it helpful!
@@coachscornerWells Helpful is an understatement. My son was constantly dropping his hands and swinging underneath pitches. He's only in coach pitch and in first grade, but after teaching him with your videos, he went 4/4 tonight hitting. He was so happy and so was I! So thanks again, you've earned a subscription here.
I wonder if anyone has ever tried modifying this machine to use 2 springs instead of 1 for faster pitches lol.
How fast do you want it to go?
@@coachscornerWells 100 mph.....jk lol. I don't know, I was just curious is all lol.
@@ceesparxxx uh, wow! Not sure I would trust the mechanism at that speed!
@@coachscornerWells Yeah I wouldn't either tbh lol. But even something like 75 would be awesome too lol.
Gotta take my newbie little leaguers back to the basics of throwing (and stance). Thank you for this video.
Happy to help!
So helpful! Our t ball coaches just stick the kids out there without expecting much because "it's all just for fun". I was asked to help out this year (also coaching my other kids baseball team for the first time this year) and I love the intentionality you have in developing great hitting habits in t ball that will set the kids up to go into baseball with proper technique. I appreciate your placement of the t, for one. Makes a lot more sense and no one seems to put much thought into that. Practice with my little leaguers has shown me where I will have to shore them up, hitting not being the least of it. I will definitely utilize your instruction here. Thank you so much!
That is wonderful! Glad we can share what we have learned!
Why teach 5 yr olds to swing at balls above the waist? Looks like you placed the tee with the balls at nipple level.
Well, the t only goes so short.....and a higher t position is used to train them to control the bat. And we vary t level when the kid is tall enough or t goes short enough. My tballer was barely 4 at this point.
@@coachscornerWells Thanks for response. FYI, I managed to find a cheap Franklin all rubber T that positions the ball about 19" above ground. I could even cut the bottom off to lower it more if desired. Hitting went up dramatically in first use. Batters can actually swing downward to ball. It's at belt level for our 4-1/2 year olds.
How do you choose the right sized bat for a 6 year old in coach pitch?
#1 can they comfortably swing the bat? #2 make sure it meet requirements of the league #3 check reviews for durability.
Great tutorial and knowledge advice for the Blue flame Coach. My son is just starting little league. The wife and I are looking for a machine to buy so he and his sister who plays softball can practice with. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video. Shows how to use it on the mound in very easy to follow directions.
Thanks 👍
Thank you
Welcome!
Love your videos. Keepem comin!
Thank you!
Good to see someone going over fundamentals! Thanks for the content!
I feel strongly about preaching fundamentals at all levels.
Thank you! Your instructions are easy to follow!
Glad it helped!
Very helpful. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
I’m going to use this with my tee ball team. I don’t know anything. But this helps
Wonderful!
Love this
Great!
First time volunteering to coach this spring and ur channel is a huge help thanks man
Happy to help!
My daughter is 4 and starting T ball this year. I wish I could find that bat you use.
You can make them out of PVC pipe too. Just made one and filled it with dirt to make a heavy bat for waffle ball practice! The heavy one is for my 8-12 yearolds.
Thank you for your help in everything!!! I’ve never watched or played baseball but I signed my 3 year old son and your videos have helped me so much on everything!!!
That is awesome!
Coach, thank you so much for the down and dirty explanation. I'm excited to get mine on the field. Do you have a suggestion of how often to change out springs?
I change them out every season. Amazon sells multi-packs.
Thank you for your help and explaining it step by step
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome vid! Appreciate the no bs explanation!!!!
Glad you liked it!
Would we be able to use this for slow pitch softball?
I do not know. Never tried.
Thanks for this. I'm a parent with two boys who recently got interested in baseball. Now it's the offseason and I want to teach them the basics before they sign up for little league. Can you recommend a good tee to get for 7 and 10 year old beginners?
Tanner Tee the Original adjustable batting tee is the best, but also expensive. You will be using for a long time, so not a terrible investment. Check Facebook marketplace for a used one! We have found the collapsible legs to be convenient for transportation, maneuverability and storage.
are you able to use softballs on it
Yes they can.
