    Instead of having him go to the gym with you have him do calisthenics at home like 100-300 push-ups and sit ups a day and get him a pull up bar and a dip bar so he can also workout those muscles and get him a forearm grip trainer it worked great for me when I was his age it got me strong

      He is building his foundation with form controlled exercises. Once he is stronger doing 100-300 push up could be possible, but not at this time.

    I played baseball majority of my life and have retired from my playing days and it’s my turn to teach my kids the sport I enjoyed playing. I was professionally trained for 4 years in HS and went to play ball in college and I can say after watching this video I believe it’s a good starting video and good tips for anyone learning and wanting to be a tball coach or just wanna help your kid get better. The bat on the shoulders is a great tip and not trying to ask a 4-5 year old to keep your elbow up and focusing on the hips turning rather then the arms doing the moving is also a great tip well done sir

    if dont set the pin to the max 11 on foot pedal say 10-9 ; do you find that it gives you more of higher pop fly ? I will be using the setup today , I agree with what you said , we are also starting out D4 today kid pitch and figured why not use the blue flame for some popflys , its just sitting in the trunk of my car anyways .

    I had the hardest time getting the pitch to stay in the same spot each time with this machine. Still figuring it out. No matter what I did, the pitch moved right little by little until it wants to hit the batter. Still many more things I can try to do. Just need more time with it.

    So helpful! Our t ball coaches just stick the kids out there without expecting much because "it's all just for fun". I was asked to help out this year (also coaching my other kids baseball team for the first time this year) and I love the intentionality you have in developing great hitting habits in t ball that will set the kids up to go into baseball with proper technique. I appreciate your placement of the t, for one. Makes a lot more sense and no one seems to put much thought into that. Practice with my little leaguers has shown me where I will have to shore them up, hitting not being the least of it. I will definitely utilize your instruction here. Thank you so much!

    • @coachscornerWells
      @coachscornerWells 5 місяців тому

      Well, the t only goes so short.....and a higher t position is used to train them to control the bat. And we vary t level when the kid is tall enough or t goes short enough. My tballer was barely 4 at this point.

    • @YNLEXPOSURE

      @@coachscornerWells Thanks for response. FYI, I managed to find a cheap Franklin all rubber T that positions the ball about 19" above ground. I could even cut the bottom off to lower it more if desired. Hitting went up dramatically in first use. Batters can actually swing downward to ball. It's at belt level for our 4-1/2 year olds.

      Tanner Tee the Original adjustable batting tee is the best, but also expensive. You will be using for a long time, so not a terrible investment. Check Facebook marketplace for a used one! We have found the collapsible legs to be convenient for transportation, maneuverability and storage.
