    Missing things, can you answer the following...Are you an over 5.0 player...have you played anyone in circuit tours...where are the details in your teaching...AN experience I had was watching someone coached and all he could say was punch the ball over 50 times in front of me while providing barely any reasonings... oh well i guess

    Good advice. I definitely need to implement more of this because I’m the type of player who plays aggressive attacking and wants shorter rallies, but sometimes if I’m not playing my best to get into the grove I’ll need to compromise to a style like this. Question is the court you’re on filled with debris or is it just the camera angle? Looks like it could be dangerous lol

      @@1TyroneBlak I'm glad it helped! Yes, the court I was at was filled with debris. They are not really well maintained courts either unfortunately. I've never played on it, Just made videos.

    I try to keep the ball low with a slice or drive down high balls. It is hard for them to hit lobs and moonballs off a low ball. You're right that patience is key. So often I have tried to hit winners off their short balls and send the ball long.

    Nobody should call anyone out in rec tennis for how much time you take on a serve, it’s not fair because there isn’t a serve clock.

    Best advice from Jim Courier regarding consistent bad line calls, "do it back to them, as soon as they complain say to them in a very matter of fact manner, 'i'll clean up my calls as soon as you clean up yours' ". I use the 3 strikes rule to determine the "consistency"...if they do it three times, especially after i politely question them, then i start doing it back, and follow Courier's advice - it works! Because after thee times and its still happening and you're tryin to just forget it?!? Nah, not happening, it will start to bother you and you cant let bullies win - stand up for yourself, because cheaters dont stop until they're called out.

  • @alexandermayer2026
    @alexandermayer2026 16 днів тому

    Without a doubt, bad line calls (CHEATING) are a major deterrent to competitive tennis. The most important issue to handle is your opponent’s foot faults. There is disagreement on whether you can even call them on your opponent, but you can. I have watched 3.5 matches where one person did not actually make one serve due to foot faults. But if you want fair play, don’t compete in tennis.

  • @LeeLikesFrenchFries

    how about fighting fire with fire and also cheat by calling balls out to "make it fair"? have you ever seen a match degenerate into something like that? what happens in those cases?

    • @Danielsimplytennis
      @Danielsimplytennis 16 днів тому

      @@LeeLikesFrenchFries I haven't seen any matches go like that, The only issue with doing that Is that if you start calling bad line calls as well they are most likely going to start calling even worse line calls So I wouldn't recommend it.

    Great video! Being negative does nothing for you, it's good to remain positive and have a short term memory when it comes to forgetting bad shots hit during a match. Try to be optimistic and tell yourself you can make that shot in the future, sounds hard but definitely will make any level of player better
