People often put a stereotype on truck drivers: Fat, filthy, stinky, dirty, etc... I'm going to attempt to change that. Subscribe to this new channel if you want to lose weight while trucking. We will be doing it TOGETHER. Also, I will be posting videos of mechanical work. Most of the repairs we do on our own to save money. For the most part it's very basic and self explanatory, but for those of you who aren't very good with repairs, I'm here to help. You can always ask me questions on my instagram @Vadim_Sanich1
HOW MUCH Do TRUCKERS GET PAID | First time in Arizona | Trucking in the USA
#Trucking #America #Happinessbythemile #Eiver2
Hey guys, in this video i picked up a load in Texas and went to Arizona first time in my career. The only reason I went is because they paid really nice. It was insane Hot in Phoenix and I've never seen such tall cactus before. From there I made my way up to Chicago, where I got to experience DOWNTOWN for the first time. You don't want to miss my next video. Like and Subscribe.

Eagle is ur best choice. Got mine from verduyn tarps gary in. Couldn't be happier with it...
Btr learn how 2 skateboard 1st is my advice 2 newbies ...
My connie is a 48' east/ eagle!
The only downside is NO OVERSIZE unless you’re strictly speaking overweight… well, you also lose a foot or so in height just opening/closing the conestoga.
is a conestoga a traveling circus?
Excellent
Hi, very informative video. thank you. I do however have a few questions. I am using the other style curtain-side trailer. Q1) If you can't get to the front bulkhead door due to being blocked with product, how else can you climb on top? Q2) Pertaining to strapping, throwing the strap over to the other side (bear in mind) very high product - as high as the ceiling, you mentioned the product won't get damaged. Are you saying that you no longer need to strap (secure the load). Q3) There are many times when the trailer isn't full, that the load is in the front and middle. Can you open from the front without having to release the tension in back? Q4) Also, if you had to release the tension from back, can you skip raising the entire back and simply lift the back up enough to pull out the tension handle? Q5) And finally, if there isn't enough room on either side to rollup the back, how else can you open the curtain from the back?
Next year I am going to work with a company who has Conestoga trailer. Thanks for the good information
I just saw your video and I’m in the market for a Conestoga trailer what company did you buy this one from ?
Those brokers are idiots, it’s a self tarping flatbed! Easier to check the load has a built in bulkhead won’t mark the paint up with tarps beating on it. Only downfall is no over dimension permit loads.
good place to take a shit
Post more videos on you useing the conestoga trailer, show some loading/unloading
Can you drive with it open
It's also known as courtensided trailer. In europe it is used very widely.
Do brokers and shippers have any issues with you booking loads as a dry van with this type of trailer?
A dry-van keep load without humidity cuz doors have seal . Conestoga keep load from getting wet by rain but a lot of moisture by humidity come inside .
This is February 2020. Where's your mask?
Would love to know what brand it is.
Hey RdWarrior, good video on Conestoga. If you are a Owner Operater, I'm a independent dispatcher, it would be really cool to work with you. Happy Holidays.
Man why we cant pull dryvan with this trailer i belive is way better
I’ve done a couple Dry Van loads. I guess they don’t want us to throw straps over their freight to damage boxes? Idk
I know I am 3 months late here but I would guess that most places that will load a dry van want to use forklifts or power jacks thru a dock. It would be very easy for there operator to hit the tarp and rip it or even drive right off the trailer. So it would need to be loaded with a manual jack and the loader would still have to be much more careful then most I have seen. Shippers and receivers just don't want that liability
👍😎👍
Excelent video 💪🏻
I love love love your channel, and I'm not even a driver. I just work for a broker in the USA, from Colombia
Thank you for this video as well. I’m not a driver, I’m just starting to work for a broker in the US, from Colombia and I appreciate what you’re doing...and you’re also sexy LOL
Thank you so much for this video.I subscribed and activated the bell.
“This guy is HELLA slow!!” 😂 you have some California influence in you! We say hella down in Cali. Grab the camera again man. Make more vids!!
Great video brother👍🏽
You just can't haul long or wide loads. Right!
Why didn't you finish your 10 hour break at the shipper?
Very especialize trailer good video
You never said how much you got paid lol. It’s right in the title of the video
@1:54
Cool channel man keep uploading interesting loads and new things you’ve learned.
I’m doing Reefer and this is why I hate my eLog so much. I’m always running against the clock at appointments. I’m getting a new engine this summer that’s for sure.
I have a2001 walbash connostoga. I love it!
Are u still using and what type of loads do u get I’m thinking of buying one for a good price???
You have a 96” inside height, for starters. You’re trying to make brokers acknowledge that you have a conestoga and you want them to ok a load with that knowledge, it’s costing you loads, they don’t need to know if your trailer will work, only you need to know that your trailer will work. I have the same trailer, but a 48’ with the FastTrak, I wouldn’t have anything else.
This thing has made my life easier..no more tarping in the 115 degree nevada heat..or freezing cold.
About to start running one for the first in a week!
@@EbedOfYeshuaHaMashiach yeah just be careful of trees
@@truckinbrothetrucka452 No trees in Nevada, at least not in Vegas except for a few palms
We don't usually refer to them as Conestoga trailer, we usually just call them a roll-tite.
Good video RDWARRIOR I did not know how a conestoga operates.Great Vid for brokers
I’ll just tell the brokers I got a flatbed, and how high is the load. When they ask if I got tarps, ‘Yup’ and just show up. As long as the load fits you’re good to go.
Did that one time. Shipper refused to load it. He doesn’t deal with Conestogas because his forklift drivers have done damage to them in the past, and they had to pay a ton of money to fix it
@@rdwarrior8062 Tell him if he didn't hire idiots he wouldn't have any problems.
Nice video!
How do it react in crosswinds while driving
Actually it’s not bad at all. Holds strong. I drove through WY with bad winds 70+mph. I put straps criss cross in middle of the trailer and the back. From top to bottom to hold the structure and it held like a champ.
It helps to add the aero skirts under the trailer that go around the wheels all the way back to the bumper. That pushes air away and stops the trailer from flipping. The wind pushes the trailer instead of tipping it. You also get 2-3mpg on spread axles so that’s good.
