Any caliber between 32ACP and 44 Mag that you can shoot accurately is the best caliber

Only small handheld emps wouldn’t affect portable charger if it isn’t connected to any power but anything bigger will fry the electric circuits in the charger.

I make it a point to buy at least 1 box of 9mm critical duty and 2 boxes of 556 whether that be sp bthp otm or my preference eld

Im gonna do some testing out of my 40s&w. I am a fan of both 9mm and 40 so my testing will be for which round ill choose as my daily carry. From the testing ive seen so far, 40s&w has the ability to be far more devastating on impact than a 9mm round if the right bullet grain weight/design to powder ratio is used.

I think I heard the fat electrician said testing on for the .45 was its abiability, to drop a cow with one bullet. Not swearing to it BUT . Unless design has improved making a 9mm not a weak round, but that same tech can be put in a .45. Long ago bullet test. 9mm hollow point max expansion up to .45. .45 ball starts out at 9mm best. Id like to see kinetic energy transfer. I used to explain the .44 mag to .45 as taking a pick ax .44 to Taking a sledge hammer. Both work.

Yep, the real reason is cost not effectiveness of the round. The .40 S&W is a more devastating round and a better option, despite it being out of fashion today.

Thanks for using one of my website's old pics (2nd one of the white box 9mm 115gr +P+, I take all of the site's pics so I recognize my own work). And yes, it's a sidearm. The difference in results from 9mm to 40S&W is like the man said, negligible, but the cost and recoil and overall benefit of the 9mm over every other comparable sidearm caliber is significant. 9mm has won that caliber war, by a lot. Also, I personally own more 9's than I can remember, too much fun, too many options from 6rd pocket carry to old Colt AR-9's taking modified Uzi mags and everything in between...9mm feeds them all.

not everyone is going to be a sniper, I believe these recommendations are for like if your in the military, but for civilians it would be totally different, plus no will be carrying all those rifles everyday, everywhere they go. also after all the big caliber ammo is gone the .22lr will be king.

Honestly…most people should choose 9mm. 40sw is a great option for an average between for bear and human defense. 10mm is for bear defense unless you’re target is Shaq sized

Then by that logic just switch to 380. Its basically a 9mm short. Use +p or just a hotter powder in general to get faster velocitys.

Stay home as long as possible! Use the faucet while the water is still running, fill up garbage bags and any containers that can hold water. Thirst will get yea before hunger. Keep your pantry good and stocked, use your perishable foods first. Having some lumber, hand saws, hammers and nails can go a long way in securing your home. For security at least invest in a 9mm pistol and keep at least 200 rounds on hand. Finally do at least one training course a year with your pistol. If you can't get a pistol where you live then go with a 12 gauge shotgun.

A bullet wound is a bullet wound at the end of the day and without hospitals you have a very very low chance of living. Ammo type doesn't matter, shot placement does. This guy is a clown.

I almost got one a few years back but the safety on the slide is a no go for defense for me. Something happens and I have to manipulate the slide under pressure there's just too much of a risk that I could put the safety on accidentally and get myself or someone else killed. With training that risk would be minimal but minimal is still too much. They're definitely great guns and one day I'll own a M9A3 but it's not something I would rely on for defensive purposes. That's just my preference though, you want one get one, get two, maybe a third, just train with it. Put a dummy round randomly in the mag when shooting and practice racking the slide under pressure, maybe race against a clock and have a buddy scream at you the whole time to add some pressure.

    1. The kid should have never had the rifle in the first place if he does dumb stuff like this. Also, how long did the fire fight go on? What if it was his dad? Why didn't the kid ask "who goes there" or basic challenge questions. Again, I can't blame the kid, but the idiotic dad. 2. Special agents are far from your average police officer where they need a warrant to be in private property. Plus, I doubt the story this guy is saying is in good faith. 3. Interesting that this guy didn't mention the crime the former 18x was investigated for. Just a silly gun thingly right buddy?
