I use beetles gel base and top coat because my natural nails used to split way down the side wall (sulcus) and it's strengthens and grown my nails. Your mani is gorgeous and the stamping and colours are beautiful 💜💅👏TFS

I enjoy these videos. Great idea to use top and base gel to strengthen the nail. I used to do gel years ago before I learned how to do my nails properly (base, lacquer, top coat, etc). Nice mani! 😊

Great mani. I have that plate as well & have liked it. I’m actually trying to get my ducks in a row to possibly start doing stamping videos on UA-cam starting 2025. There is a Saturday stamping group that I enjoy watching & thought would be fun participating in. I am needing to learn how to edit videos 1st & how people record their videos since it would mostly be on my phone

I dont do nail art but I like seeing it, and I enjoy chatty vid's... tfs!!! I do a gel overlay from time to time but I always always use A&H's Mermaid Tears base first(wait for it to be completely dry b4 applting your gel), and highly recommend it especially for every1 that has thin nails such as yourself... its a nutrional basecoat, that I've been using it since 2019. I swear by it.. my nails are healthy and naturally thick I rarely break a nail and its not because of the gel overlay that I use from time to time its actually the mermaid tears plus she sells it in scented with lots of scents to choose from which I appreciate being a smoker. Have a Gr8 week =-)

I like the Color Club and the Bathroom Blues is gorgeous! I'm in a 55+ community and notice all the older ladies here do gel nails. I'm going to be the holdout as long as I can do my own!

I have bathroom blues also and l love it! Blue is my favorite color. So l love the Color Club Secret Agent. I used to have some l .a.m Custom Color but detashed them. I didn’t know Rainbow Crabs was magnetic. I had that one. I loved this video and revisiting some of your Mom’s polishes. So fun!!!

Nailed It Hawaii Makes the best flakie polishes and is my favorite polish. I just ordered some from Nailed It.

I'm pretty impressed with the looks of the Harry Styles polishes!

Holo Taco site describes Waste of Space as a black jelly with red and blue iridescent flakes and scattered holographic glitters. Looks like a nice formula, but too dark for my preferences. My local Walmart has OPI for 12 and Essie for 13, so 14 doesn't seem like much more to me. Shopping sales is key! When I wear HT shades, I can often get 10-12 days of wear before chipping, so it's worth it for quality. I've seen some recent video clips of Cristine the brand owner say that she wants to bring all the normies at Ulta into her world of holo specialty finishes lol I think they are in 500 US stores so far.

I know 14 $ is a lot for you guys in the US but a regular priced OPI is about 19 $, where I am from.

The second blue OPI looks like Gelato on My Mind.

Holo Taco is only at like 1/4 of Ulta stores for now, and it's only a small selection of their full catalog. I believe they will go on sale when Ulta has sales (fairly often), and HT only has 2 sales a year. so it could be useful IF the ones you want are in the Ulta selection.

Great haul. I have also been picking up the Opi minis from dollar tree. I have heard rumors about holo taco at ulta but I have not purchased from this brand.

I can't imagine how expensive HT is at Ulta! Yes, I knew they are carrying some there. But hey, you save on shipping, right? 😊 My favorite here is the gray shimmer - very nice for a cheap polish!

Mini OPIs used to have the colour number on the bottle so you could look the name up? Ulta are stocking a limited number of Holo Taco, only very recently though .

I loved the first three SHs. I feel your pain on being in between houses. I pack up all my nail polish and cat(s) and go between MN and FL fall and spring. Which is why I limit my polish buying (500 is where I'm trying to keep it).

The 2 Harry Styles cremes would look nice with the same colour SH ‘holo’ polishes

I think oil based means petrochemicals vs water based kids polishes.

My daughter just got back from a trip to Singapore for the F1 race. She brought me back a six-pack of polish from a brand called Fuso. I don't know if she saw the ones you found. But the ones she found are really pretty, too! She wasn't able to see the mall part of the airport, unfortunately. They told her it was actually outside the airport proper, and they would have to go through customs again to re-enter the airport. 🤷‍♀️😂
