Standingbear998, you are correct as change is a constant. At no point did I claim that I was describing landscapes from 100 million years ago. Perhaps you're commenting on the wrong video. 100 million years is well before the first known primate arrived. As an archaeologist, I study lifeways and artifacts created by people. In this presentation, I described landscape architectural structures such as burial mounds, ditches, and earthworks envisioned and constructed with the Adena, ca. BCE to CE 200. If you watch the presentation, you should know that I used "Indigenous" to describe landscapes created and modified by Indigenous Peoples--who by the way, would be greatly offended by your abject dismissal of the word indigenous.

there is no such thing as indigenous landscapes. people go back in time or history to wherever supports there whatever and rime stops there. this is not how the Ohio river vally was 100 million years ago. It has been forever changing like climate and the entire world. very misleading and false using the now meaningless word indigenous.

Actually you never mentioned the Founder of Wheeling West Va. , Col. Ebenezer Zane , nor jhis Brothers and sister Betty Zane . Some individuals moved their graves and this was my 5th Great Grandfather . My Father , Griffith Zane Watkins was born in Martins Ferry Ohio in 1910 and his Mother was Rebecca Woods who was the direct decendant hense , the 3rd generation of the Founder of Wheeling West VA. I traveled there to the find records and located a will that Col. Ebenezer wrote about the Court House which read , " If this Court House is torn down , then the property would revert back to the Hiers . It was my Fathers Sister.and my Mother along with myself that discovered the will . Shortly after our visit the records department burned down . My family are gone now . I think its strange that their graves were moved and little if anything remains of the heroin and heros that fought the rugged war disappears from the very land that made the efforts to create Wheeling is not even mentioned . Battle at the Fort and statue of Betty Zane removed along with the historic Court house that should have been preserved in their Honor .

Playing classical guitar isn't just about mastering notes; it's about weaving emotions and stories through strings. Every pluck resonates with centuries of rich musical heritage, offering a timeless connection to both the past and the present. Keep strumming, for your melodies echo the soul's deepest whispers and inspire the heart's grandest dreams.

Hello there .. excellent presentation Christine .. I just have to say that I’m quite saddened that I’m the first hapless person to comment ! .. it’s truly extraordinary that there seems to be such scant interest paid to anything much of a serious matter such as the history of the brave and selfless and pioneering nurses of the First World War .. who risked their lives so heroically to bring much needed assistance to the poor injured often ; no more than child soldiers of the horrendous conflict of the frontline .. I personally find it to be extremely rare ever to hear of the part that women play in wartime .. wether in active service on the battlefield or indeed in the essential nursing of the casualties of conflict .. men are so obviously lionised in wartime ; yet steadfast women . ( largely ignored ) .. often equally brave , though not actively fighting the war .. their war was just behind the frontlines in the casualty clearing stations etc. So we have a kind of skewed view of the very subject of bravery itself ! .. I personally feel it is equally brave and courageous to be battling away with the harrowing casualties of crying like babies from their terrible wounds with legs blown off and blood and mud everywhere around .. with no antibiotics .. only antiseptics and very likely lack of adequate dressings and medical supplies no doubt .. especially when essential supplies were cut off from military attacks by hostile forces . .. anyhow enough of my “ novella” .. I’m in no way qualified to comment academically .. but as a keen observer of our times and various things from history and indeed a somewhat jaundiced perspective on all things happening in our world today .. I’m very concerned that the lessons of history go very much unlearned .. less still understood .. Obviously we all know that hackneyed quote that “ those who do not learn from the past are condemned to repeat it “ .. that’s if indeed I got the quote exactly correct .. probably not as I’m very tired and somewhat under the cosh of the medical establishment and their disgusting sickening medicine ; as purveyed to us poor hapless patients curtesy of the outrageous profession of psychiatry .. and it’s minions who dispense the poisonous preparations of big pharma .. I notice that you mentioned the Spanish flu epidemic which killed upwards of 20 millions of people .. I just have to say that the current situation with the ..”pandemic “of today being far more deadly .. they estimate in uncensored sources that over 2 million poor folks have passed away post vaxxx in America alone .. seeing as there’s been around 7/8 billion shotz already administered to the peoples of the wide world .. these numbers are set to skyrocket in the next few months ..and next few years .. and it is utterly disgusting that mainstream media will not cover the access death figures .. anyway just I mustn’t go on but I’d just like to say that I was married to a friend of yours and I’ve met you many years ago .. indeed you attended our wedding .. in ‘89 .. I don’t want to identify myself exactly not because I’m ashamed or anything but because I have a UA-cam channel and I don’t want my name known if possible .. anyhow I’m sure you’ll join the dots .?.. should you ever wish to contact me .?.. you are most welcome to visit me on my livestreams which are a fairly regular occurrence .. unfortunately for my unlucky slightly insane followers .!. Anyhow I wish you well with the book 📚 sales I hope it does really well .. although judging from the lack of interest in the comments section on here I perhaps doubt if anyone much cares a jot .. such a shame and a betrayal of the brave women who risked their lives to save lives .. .. take care out there Christine .. regards David .. aka lovewavesdriftingforever … peace 🕊

I remember reading a quote from one of the "founding fathers" (can't remember which one), about white people being taken by Native Americans or even running away to go live with the Native Americans by their own free will. He said, in the quote I read, something like, - the white people, once they got a taste of the freedom and other aspects of the Native American's traditional tribal way of life, they (white captives/adoptees) didn't want to come back to the white man's so-called "civilization." And who can blame the white people who went "Native" for not wanting to come back to the white man's so-called "civilization", what with all it's taxes, permits, licenses, unjust & un-Constitutional laws, greed & corruption?

I’m happy for Mike’s success. Been a reader of PFT since it began and have enjoyed him bringing a critical eye to the NFL and the way the league conducts its business. No one was doing this type of analysis and commentary on the NFL and it’s been interesting to see him be a burr under the league’s saddle while being a champion of the game at the same time.

I really admire Professor Graylings intellect but; his left-leaning politics aside, how can any man of any intelligence show any admiration for Joe Biden. The man should be in a care home. Legitimate runner for President? Definitely. Fairly elected? Maybe. Fit for office? Absolutely not. Grayling mentioned one of our problems in the UK being politics, well heres another that never gets talked about. Immigrants. Illegal ones at that and those that bring them crime, gang warfare, abuses of children both mental and sexual - and these things are cknveniently ommitted when these discussions come up. I'd love to see a discussion on the critique of liberalism. Nice video anyway, and the world I'm sure is grateful for another discussion like this, I know I am 👍🏻
