Hi everyone! My name is Regina. I'm a foreign trained dentist from Germany currently living in the US. I aspire to help other dentist who have to go through the same process to be a licensed dentist in the United States. Hello! I can’t find CAAPID to select when typing it in search for institutions on ECE…
Hi! Make sure to follow the steps in the video. After you fill out the 'Colleges Attended' section on CAAPID, it will say 'Transcripts are required'. Then select 'order' to be redirected to ECE's website. ADEA CAAPID will already be selected as a recipient if you do it this way.

Hi, congratulations! My toefl score is 99, but I have US dental assiting experience, great GPA, good recommendation letters. I applied the 3rd week of March and haven’t heard from them. Do you think my toefl score is too low? Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for watching :) 99 isn't that bad. They look at applicants in a holistic way so it can't only be the TOEFL score. It depends on how much experience you have gained here, how compelling your statement of purpose is and they also care if you're located here in the United States. I believe they are accepting fewer students from outside the country now. But don't give up and keep working on your application. Many students have to apply a couple years in a row until they get accepted. It's a difficult process but it's worth it!
How about howard univeristy in DC or Maryland dental school?
Hi thanks for watching :) not sure about those schools. You could look up their cost of attendance. Schools upload their tuition and COA yearly on their websites.

Thank you for the amazing tips. I have a question so in the actual bench test will we be asked to bring in instruments? I know you said in the video a lot of schools don’t allow bringing in tools, but will we be asked be some other schools to bring tools as a requirement?
No usually you don't have to bring anything. They provide you with all the necessary instruments and materials.

hi! congrats!!! bu is one of my firsts options too, would you be kind enough to share what your stats were to be accepted ? GPA, toefl score and so on? also when did you apply ? thanks in advance
Thank you!! My toefl score was 114 (anything over 100 is good enough for them). They don't really care much about GPA. If you have great experiences here in the US, good recommendation letters and SOP then you'll get an interview. Apply as soon as possible! I applied on the first few days of the application cycle, then was one of the first to get interviewed and accepted. Good luck you'll make it too!!
