Beautiful Arps On the Behringer 2600

With some simple reverb and delay you can create this beautiful sounding arp. Playing arps on the ARP (no pun intended)

All the sounds come from the free GMS VST inside FL Studio. The drums are also stock. Hopefully proving the point that you don't need all the new fancy-pancy expensive VST's out there. The thing is, I have never bought a plugin, sound or sample inside FL Studio ever. I just bought the Fruity Edition like 5 years ago and havn't spend a cent on a piece of software since then.

Behringer 2600 Jam #1 (No Talking)

A little dawless jam on Behringer's Arp 2600 clone. The sequencer i used is the Teenage Enginnering POM 16. I slapped on some reverb and delay in post.

Spicy synth! 🌶
Fantastic 👌
Thanks!
@ your welcome 👍🏻
wow very nice! awaiting my 2600 coming, £300 for this beast of a synth is steal, so much pottential. love the Duo mode. first thing am going to set up
Thanks! Wow, yeah 300 is certainly a steal. And I very much recommend the duo mode!
What are you using besides the 2600?? Beautiful!
Thank you! The 2600 is the only thing that is playing the sequence in this video. It is in dual mode though, so it plays both the arp and the bassline. I have put some simple effects on it in post in FL Studio
What sequencer are you using??
I used the Teenage Engineering POM 16
Very nice. Love the wooden rack!
Thanks! The rack was hand-made by my dad
Awesome bro
Thanks bro
Minilogue is SO underrated. But it can produce the sound like that - not digital but without "too analog" sound while being fully analog! Good music!
Thank you! Yes, I totally agree with you
Nice melodies ! 💙🎵
Thank you!
Really cool
I agree, beautiful sounds and patching! good luck with the new synth ;)
@@WoodyPianoShack Thanks! Yes, the Minilogue will come to use for sure!
You Weren't Wrong about those Arps Bro...😮😊😊❤🎉😊Perfect 👌 Selection..jaffa Jenkins jams 😊
nice
Unbelievable, my very very favourite 'falling down' arp/chord progression. You've got the deep emotion in your heart, may God bless you ❤(I've downloaded the arp, put it in Ableton, cut the lows, and added a Reese base (also falling) underneath one of the arp loops, it's unbelievably beautiful your arp, and I love deep basses 😃) All the best, Sinos
Wow, I’m speechless, thank you! Very pleased to hear you liked it
1:18 what are you adjusting here for that percussion effect? The noise generator?
Yes, exactly
Hey. Nice one dude. Subbed. ❤
@@soundsofsynth Thank you!
totally reminds of The Son of Flynn song on Tron Legacy soundtrack
Haha wow, hadn’t heard it before but it was actually pretty similar.
Very very nice!! 🙌🐀
Thank you!
Let’s go!!!!! You make that thing sing! I’ll get a 2600 one of these days. Maybe next Christmas!
Thank you! Yeah, I totally think you should get it, it’s an awesome synth
It's a start...
This is sick 🤘
Thank you!
Those pads hit!
sounds of the Deep that underlies everything.
Damn your title really worked!
🕺💃🕺
nice melody
Thank you!
Kung!!!
thanks bro
What are you thanking me for? The song? The title? The thumbnail? Anyways, you’re welcome, I guess?
Yep, that's why we got ours
So very cool! An awesome set up too, I love seeing that you have those wooden stands for the 2600! 🙌🐀
Haha yeah, she stands are nice. But I didn’t buy them, my dad actually made them from mahogany wood for me.
Try some Hendrix on it!!
Haha yeah I’ll see. It almost sounds like an electric guitar
This is answer, when R2D2 ask purpose from Ricky. :D
That distortion is INTERNAL ?!?! Holy fook!
Yeah it’s 100% internal. The preamp module is powerful!
Jag ska vara helt ärlig, kommer inte ihåg att du va så söt
Sixten du kommer få alla guzzar när de ser detta!!!

Riktigt eld🔥
Konungen levererar som vanligt!!!
Gnarligt
Låter riktigt bra!!
Najs!!!
Riktigt fett!!!
Kung Sixten
Riktigt gnarligt!!!
Riktigt gött Sixten
Tack Samskolan!
Presumably this is a total clone of the original ARP machine? If so, you should be able to reproduce the R2-D2 "voice" by plugging in a dynamic mic. and making the correct connections on the 2600. There's a YT video showing someone doing _exactly_ that with an ARP 2600, which was how Ben Burtt and co. created the R2-D2 chirps and whistles etc. for the original _Star Wars_ movie (and all that followed).
Yeah, I have seen that video! Maybe I should give it a try some day
And yeah you are right, it is a total clone. They have just added an LFO and midi in.
@@Sinos610 Thank you! That would be GREAT! And perhaps if you make a video of that, you could spell out the patchcord, switch settings, and slider settings to make that sound? I'm sure a lot of people would be interested!
Yeah of course! Maybe next week there will be a video on it…
I really like this. I have one as well, but haven't really used it much... a plan for the future.... you've motivated me to try and dig it out. I thought the video editing was good.... but I'm probably not the best judge.
Thank you! Yeah I highly recommend you to use it
Absolutely _beautiful!_ Any chance you could let us know the parameter settings on the Beringher as well as the Teenage Engineering synths as I own both & would love to use the sound which opens this track! Very "Wendy Carlos"!
Thank you! Yeah I have thought of doing a more of a tutorial style video soon
@@Sinos610Please do! I've subscribed to your channel!
Add percussion and you got so nice trance track that no one has!
Yeah that’s a great idea!
