A great band ....in my top3 of all time

Saw them play in support of Tom Robinson in Middlesbrough, and again in Scarborough when they supported Big Country. Unfortunately second night was spoiled by the crowd trashing what looked like a beautiful theatre. Great band and really nice lads to chat with. Such a shame they didn’t get the recognition they surely deserved. Great performance on these tracks out in the street. Thanks for sharing.

I have heard nothing new on the radio on recent years that can hold a candle to these guys and others like them from the 80s and before.

A knockout track from the very first bar and deserves to be in any compilation of classic Irish singles, yet people are walking past oblivious and one woman even has her fingers in her ears. Makes me feel glad to have been young in the 70s and 80s when there was real music before the rot set in.

Thanks for the post. I intended to go to their gig in the central pub (forget name now) in small town of Kill, Co.Kildare instead of vicar st (as i was not available for VS night) yet then when i tried buying tickets the website seemed to say it was cancelled. Can anyone confirm that no gig went ahead there or was it just the pub website's clumsy way of saying sold out? Eitherway i'm still sorta dissapointed i missed them as i was big into this band several years earlier (via lp found in oxfam;)

Wow missed this big time over the years. Had tickets for friday night in vickar street and couldnt make it due to unforeseen circumstances, I was gutted. but with any luck ill get a chance to see them in the neae future. Great stuff thanks for posting.
