2022 is a challenging year to be collectors. Watch as a middle aged dad and his son do what they can to keep hope alive with their collections of toys, prop-replicas, play sets, and just fun cool stuff. See what real people do when the cost of everything is too high but fun still has to be had.
We hope to inspire other people who loved doing these same things but found them to just be too expensive. We are a big family with many needs, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be the best father and son toy hunting and creative team. That's a big box for that small figure and the items.
They put a lot into how it would display if you were an on card or in box collector . I imagine that adds to the size of the box. But I agree that it would take up a lot of display space if that was the case
I believe a number of the diorama-pieces are electrical equipment. the tall coil-y thing is a Voltaic Pile, an electrical battery that could continuously provide an electric current to a circuit. I think the canisters are battery cells, visually the closest match I found looking around at pictures is the Bunsen cell, and I think the wheely-thing is some type of motor or generator, couldn't find an exact match for that. Electrical equipment would make sense for Frankenstein's creature, as a common element to Frankenstein adaptations is the creature/monster being brought to life by electricity, so some 19th century electrical equipment to fit the original novel's setting.
All of that makes complete sense. I’m going to have to look up some of info you gave to see if I can find matches. Thanks 🙏

Just grabbed this yesterday at Ollies in N Texas. For the same purpose, to custom for classified. I did push the seat tab from the bottom and that thing broke super easy(be careful). I am looking to remove the top portion of the seat without noticeable damage. Will try later today . For the price this was worth it.
Thanks for the caution and pointers. I haven’t fiddled with it again yet but I’m looking forward to seeing what I can do with it. Still hoping for a classified vehicle but if not I know Star Wars black series will also work

I don’t know what it went for. Honestly when these were big I didn’t pay any attention to them aside from the large Zurg that everyone was making sentinels out of. Now I’m trying to get some more ships and vehicles to customize

Same here. It’s taken me many laps around leaving things unfinished or scrapping them altogether because it’s not perfectly what my mind’s eye had pictured. Much happier now that I can accept it. Funny enough I’m having more fun with the flaws lol. CHEERS!!!
