Wow! What a great song that we need now more than ever...Here is my two cents.... UNITED WE STAND AND DIVIDED WE FALL Who hasn’t heard this clarion call to action or at the very least some awareness of a serious situation. By that I mean, “Houston…We have got a problem”. Our problem as a free, democratic society is the recognition that we pose a threat to those who seek power for power’s sake. This tendency to glorify oneself in unabashed glory and egoistical stature is and should be abhorrent in most normal thinking individuals. It is, as candidate for the Presidency of the “United States of America” Kamala Harris recently said that it is frankly immoral to its core. We the People are this Government. We owe allegiance to our country and not to an individual who wants to be a Dictator! If we do not become all ONE or an attempt to be united then it is quite likely that our democratic experiment will dissolve and will no longer be recognized. Yes, divided we will certainly fall to prejudice, avarice, and probably many more faults than I could count. Let us not waiver in our pledges to protect and defend our guiding United States Constitution and by doing so we will shake off the coat of repression and become newer and freer than we ever imagined.
