Aw man you gotta make a real jump that breaks stuff 😂
I just watched another video with someone with clogging issues, he changed the start mode settings to level eight. So perhaps if you change the start mode settings, it might address the clogging issues. Cheers mate. 🤓 🇦🇺
AWESOME!! we went there for honeymoon but wifes skeered of heights
omylanta!! mine is sooo slow in comparison wth
is absolutley no way i wouldnt break the tv lol got skills bro
Still using ultra shocks?
Yep.
From Reddit :)
Is the stock losi mini b good to drive on road on concrete/asphalt, almost as much as carpet? Or is it a big diffetence. Thx if answer
Big difference. Lots of traction on carpet. Especially on RC carpet like eos or crc. On the street, it burns through tires. Don't think there is any official road tire out there for Mini B, besides foams
Raced my mini b on carpet last summer. Should have some videos on here
Bomb Pop RC, This is so fun! I'm happy I found your channel!
What gears are you running. 40 tooth spur?
86 spur 23 pinion
Deadspots? Thats crazy!!!
Yep. RadioLink. Trashy brand and customer service. The only radio I like from them is the 4gs and 6gs. All their other radios and products are trash. Customer service is 0 help. Been having these issues for the past 6 months and nothing has fixed it
Wow. That last great radio i bought was in 2001. It is JR crystal less radio. 1-99 channels. I've been out of the game for a while. Just getting back into it. The radio was the bomb back then.
My dad's TT-02 had similar issues but i saw on the forums your painted body and it looks great. I'm now thinking about getting a 4-tec 2.0 or 3.0 but i'm really wanting a 3.0 C8 Corvette what sucks is that they're discontinued.
Looks good so far! I’m thinking of getting one just to be stupid with and spend all my money and see how good I can truly make it lol.
What ramp is this?
Something I got off of Amazon. 7 inches wide. For about 60 bucks at the time. Max size is about a 10th scale SCT.
Hello, I’m not familiar with the mechanics of your rc car but from this video, it looks like one of the wheels has slightly more resistance than the other so, the differential is sending the torque to the wheel with less resistance
Already fixed it. I had to add a bunch of grease in the hubs to the bushings to get the stub axle side to rotate more freely
This is NOT an issue unless the wheel with more resistance feels particularly stiff, I would try applying a small amount of resistance to both wheels and if they both spin, your car is most likely fine.
Good to hear!, from the video, it looked just like one axle had a bit more friction than the other and your car is fine, the differential is just doing its job of allowing each wheel to spin at at different speeds
I told ya it was a really bad chassis design. But it wasn't a waste of time. You will always have the experience of building it 😉
Gratz dude! I'm happy for ya :)
There you go tuining that baseball diamond again 😂
Trying to help ya out here. That motor sure looks to be a sensored motor. If your plugging a set of wires directly into the motor that's what it is. If so it's not a temp issue it's a cogging issue. Which means your A not using the right wire or B your sensor wire is bad
Sensorless. No sensor wire involved. Sensorless ESC too.
I'm running all the motor wires in the direct places. A to a b to b and c to c
What did you unplug from the motor?
@@SpeedFreakRC temp sensor
I see it now had to go to a bigger screen. Shouldn't be getting to hot with that esc and gearing. I run all sensored stuff and shut off all the thermal cutoffs for racing
She's a bit squirrely on that stuff huh?
Yea. Mild weather. Street tires that are like slicks now. 😅
Gorilla tape, bro.Or make a wooden one
I ran out of gorilla tape too. All the tape is gone. Cardboard for the house mini track. During the spring I'll make some wood ones for the 10th scale ones for the baseball diamond.
Dude, yoy could at least crop this one for viewers' convenience! Also, that belly slap felt nasty)))
I love the tangle with the wires jump 😂 And cut some sides and tape onto your ramps so they stay put better.
Ive the same problem, found my wire from ESC was pinched and stripped a little black wire. Check all your wires servo ESC. If touch metal chassis from big jumps slam wires cause esc to tell receiver...to turn off. If i turn transmitter off then on again it fires back up because the power jump starts it back up...
Wouldnt be a wire issue as I don't have any issues when I bind my old 4gs
Sorry you're having issues with your unit mine's been okay but range has been less then desirable. But i want to keep my RC8X if i can so i don't have to buy a DX5 Pro or move back to Futaba and get a 7PXR. Hope a good firmware update comes out to fix the issue if not it's a real shame the RC8X is a super nice radio.
1.1.7 so far has been good. I never updated past that. If you can try that version.
Thats normal. Do a rebind. But the range is super terrible on the 6 even with a range extender. Sucks no solution. You need toy use the version 2.0 rg8. Thats what they told me and also you can add a range extender. It’s plug and play ipex plug to male .
I already have the 8ch receiver in the wheeler, its the v2.0. Range isn't my issue, its more of cutting out, freezing, and failsafe not working. If you look through my driving videos, you might see some moments that the receiver / radio cuts out for a second, and it freezes so if I was at full throttle and lost signal, it will stay full throttle until i gain response again. Turns out its a firmware issue. Its been going on since 1.1.6 which was 4 ish months ago. People still have the same problem with the new 1.2.0. Myself and others are downgrading to 1.1.5 which does not have these issues. I downgraded and will never change the firmware again, unless they fix the issues. I was on 1.1.8 and still had issues a few months ago. im apart and I post alot in the radiolink group on facebook, radiolink service seems like AI and only gets out key words, they are thinking its antenna placement and rssi, while i tested for hours and hours and its not the issue. Last time I raced, since the issues were so bad, i went to bind and use my old 4gs v3 radio with the same receiver and settings, 0 issues. Back to the 8x, it was cutting out and going crazy.
@@bombpoprc2023 i have 1.1.7….so far i only have a range issue. Sucks cause the transmitter is a nice kit
@bombpoprc2023 so its 0 issues with firmware 1.1.5??
Nah. I still noticed it
@bombpoprc2023 what's the problem?
Whats a good gear setup. I have 60t spur and 18t pinion. I want to go a little faster lol . Seen videos of a 55t spur and 23t pinion but cannot find a 23t pinion that’s 2mm. A comment also said you can find some 2mm adapters to put on different pinion gears. I race on a dirt track with the mini b’s and t’s.
Not really sure. I had been running stock gearing since I had the car. And most people at my track had too.
You can run a 380 motor in your mini b for more power and speed 😮
Yea. That's the stock can size for the brushed motor. Brushless I run a 2435. 6100kv. It's a handful.
is it faster than the original?
It's says it's a high speed servo, there is no difference between this and stock besides metal gears. So no, it's not any faster. I use this OMG one now. 20kg, metal gear, a bit faster than this and stock. Also it moves/steers more freely. Since this and stock is so hard to turn by hand, I feel like it can lock up any moment. Don't really recommend Traxxas electronics anymore. www.rcmart.com/OMG-Servos/omg-high-voltage-digital-standard-servo-for-1-10-rc-buggy-omg-st-20dm-pro-00111582
The 2075R is a 9kg servo. That's why it's dog slow. 20 to 35kg is what you ideally want for a slash or any of the 1/10 Traxxas line up. For bashing and normal driving at least. Racing is a whole different story.
Dang that sucks!
Nice video!
Is this on 2 or 3s lipo?
2s
Funny, Forza got the sound just right. I knew that was a Mustsng before you switched to the view from behind the car. Looks like a lot of fun! Lol, and I just noticed you had GT500 in the title 😜
sick
i want a mini b but i feel like the price it a bit much
It's a good inside around the house car with the stock brushed system. (This video is with the stock system) When I upgraded it to brushless it flys. It's a good out side car (mainly a sidewalk/street car) The brushless system I put in it is the dynamite 2 in one esc/motor. I think it's 6700kv. It does have a metal chassis so I'm planning to get a chassis protector so I don't scrape it up.
It's a little hard at first on how to learn how the car is put together since I am used to the traxxas 2wd setups. The mini b is a scaled down version of the tlr 22 5.0 which is the 1/10 2wd race buggy.
awesome what tires are you running?
Traxxas anaconda street tires. I run them on my rustler too. They are stadium truck tires but still work on the slash.
Also since it is a wider tire I did have to cut around the wheel wells on the body so it doesn't rub.
Damn... That's so cool... One day, I want to ride in your Lambo!
what racing classes are there here and days/times. thanks
This track is Bay Area Computers and Hobbies in Pasadena MD. They have 2wd 17.5 buggy, 4wd 13.5 buggy, 2wd stadium truck and some more classes that they dont race that often like mini cars, rally and short course
Monday-Saturday 11AM-7PM Might be open later depending on races
What tires do you have on it?
I have my tires from my slash on. These are the Schumacher mini pins sct version blue compound i believe
