I had ICL done and had bad IOP two days post operation. My IOP was 46mmHg, the doctor explained this may be due to the Viscoelastic but I also feel he was not aware of this and experienced this type of post operative complication for the first time. When he also had to drain the fluid in my eye the sudden change meant that the ICL rotated 170 degrees.

No doubt there's been improvement in the technology, but I hope Light Adjustable Lenses are not like the automatic volume adjusting hearing aids I had. I've had automatic adjusting aids (to lower volume in very loud situations) and manual adjusting aids. No contest. Manual adjusting hearing aids are superior. With autos there was no way for the wearer to raise the volume in a room with bad acoustics or in the company of people who speak softly. In my experience, neither were/are much good over the phone, but they didn't promise to be. My autos also put out a harmonic at about D or E5 when I was listening to music, and they were FAR more susceptible to moisture. They seemed to be tasty, though. My dog ate one and never complained. Price on the autos was exorbitant.
