Best rendition of this Robbie Robertson song so far on youtube, even though this was after Robbie left The Band. Rick was amazing, and Richard was obviously sober. So good.
Is Robbie playing?
RIP Robbie Richardson..
It’s an absolute travesty that this entire concert video in high quality was taken down off UA-cam
The intro that makes this song gold is misssing!
Jo vaig veurels a sala l espai.fa molts anys ja
La cançó més preciosa mai escrita.
<3
No Robbie no Garth.
Garth is there ! Did you not watch until the end?
El rok catalán ya quedat, estancat, lastima

Fantastics tots dos
Temazoooo
Gran canço , gran Juanico
His voice modulations are seriously some of the best... very very very underrated.
SO SO SO MUCH Talent on one stage, this sent shivers up and down my spine, God bless Rick, Levon, Garth, and Richard, SO SO SO MUCH TALENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The synth tone at 3:13 holy crap!
Mini mog.

Richard sounding good in sobriety
Dog eat dog Cat eat mouse, Rag Mama Rag all over my house.
No Robbie?
Just awesome
Love Garth’s playing!
I thought the opening line was "goat cheese and crackers".
😆🤣👍 I thought similar: "There's no cheese and crackers!"
What language is that on the subtitles?
french
Catalán

God bless you Richard Shining light in a sea of shit
Em qual cd do Caetano Veloso foi gravada esta música?
Ele não gravou em disco, Arthur.
esse video é um excerto de um programa especial que a Manchete fez nos 50 anos do CV. está no UA-cam, procure que vai adorar.
I deleted my original post when I said that Robbie Robertson didn't write all the songs to The Band!. Several people tell me that I was wrong!! Well they were wrong.... Richard Manuel - co-writer of Band classics such as "Tears of Rage," "We Can Talk" and "Whispering Pines!!!! ultimateclassicrock.com/the-bands-richard-manuel-found-dead/
Would have Robertson been onboard in 1983, he would have brought a new batch of songs with him. Massive difference. Now it was a nostalgia act, however good.
What a lot of negative comments! These guys were all seasoned, top notch musicians. Were they supposed to roll up and die just because Robbie Robertson decided to ditch them? They had to continue to make a living the only way they knew how. They didn't need Robertson to perform these great songs live. He didn't sing and I've always thought he was an overrated guitar player.
Would have made a massive difference. If Robertson would have been onboard, he would have brought a new batch of songs with him. Now it's a nostalgia act, just a nod above a cover band.
Robertson was a good songwriter and guitar player but *was* overrated, especially as a guitar player.
Melhor interpretação
Ah yes!! The Band together with The Cate Brothers: Ernie Cate on keys, Earl Cate on guitar, Ron Eoff on bass, and Terry Cagle on drums. Do yourself a favor and check out The Cate Brothers if you haven't yet.
This guitarist is better than Robbie Robertson
Haven't heard The Band since high school...late 1960's. Was my brother's LP...he musta taken it when moved outta house...so I stumble over this tune: man, what a total blast!! Really takes me back...good music, great fun...thanks for posting.
Nice! Thanks for the upload!
Gransss
Besides being a favourite Song. It would make a great "LAST CALL" song!
Buscant fans catalans The Band...
The drumming you're hearing is actually the second drummer who is only shown a few times. While Richard is playing, his output volume is turned way down
essa e top da nossa bossa
What a band man. This is pure excellence!
YESSS!
Quins records. Me cauen ses llagrimes. Aixi i tot, va bé.
