This is the best gridding video I've found on UA-cam - simple, not overly-complex, and covers everything you need to know to make accurate drawings. Excellent technique for mapping and proportions.

I like the grid scale, but on my drawing I only put light dots. Otherwise I find all the lines difficult to completely remove.

What if you have an 8x10 print and your drawing on an 11x17 piece of paper. Sure it’s easy with even numbers what about the odds and even together?

I especially liked the instruction on pastel techniques. My first experience working with chalk pastels was about two weeks ago, and I didn't much like working with them. But I hadn't tried the simple blending technique you show here. I think I'll do better the next time I try.

How would you grid a 8x10 picture to bristle board size??? Please help 😊
