Can you do a video on removing a vinyl window without removing the siding? Lots of videos on removing old wood windows but nothing on how to remove a vinyl window for replacement! Thanks.

These guys are way better than the unscrupulous window installers ive had to deal with. Dont use metropolitan windows a marvin infinity installer in Pittsburgh. I asked repeatedly for new construction full frame windows and they lied every step of the way. They said these were going to install full frame with full tear outs but they were inserts pocket windows and are really the exact the same product. Im sure they rip off many less paranoid and richer customers all the time. The amended contract listed inserts which they always claimed was a computer glitch. Lol what were they thinking? glad i got my deposit back. BTW, They were going to install 23x46” double hungs inserts for $2500 each! I would have paid it for new construction full frame done right. Ill just keep my 40 year old anderson 400s until we redo siding. Be careful out there homeowners.

How much is the salary for a window installer?

My house is getting remodeled, and the contractor the builder has working on my house installed new windows without taking the siding out. The outside has no plywood so they are going to gave to put new plywood all around and then siding. My husband says the windows go last.

What would be helpful is to be mindful of those who may have heavy furniture to move, especially if they live alone and may not be in the best physical shape. This is especially true if that person has a lot of stuff. It can be especially stressful for some people who happens to rent, even more stressful if the landlord is personally doing the window replacements. Depending on the relationship with your landlord will depend on how pleasant of an experience it is, or how much of a nightmare it is for the renter. Moving is an option, but not an option if you have nowhere to go, and no means to move. For some people with physical limits, it can be terribly physically taxing and even stressful to have to move too much heavy stuff and do too much at a time, and even within a day. If you're renting and you can't move and the landlord comes by and decides to replace the windows, you're going to have to set limits and have someone to call if the landlord tries to push you beyond your limits and you just can't do it. Hopefully landlord and tenant can work together in those cases
