💥💥💥 Un día perfecto de invierno!!! 💥💥💥
A pesar de que las olas no presentaban mucho tamaño, el sol salió y en La Paloma se pudo disfrutar de un día de playa en pleno Agosto. El agua era lo suficientemente fría como para que los pingüinos tambien se llevaran sus olitas.
Ademas de los surfistas, se podia ver varias personas disfrutando de un día de playa. Que lindo URUGUAY!!!
Espero que disfruten del video tanto como nosotros disfrutamos de este hermoso día en la playa.

As the waves have been pretty flat the last few days around Christchurch. I bring back the HIGHLIGHTS from a big day of surfing on June 2024 at Taylor's Mistake Bay. The mid winter New Brighton Longboard Surfing Competition took place at the pier last month. The weather was horrible (including some raining) but the vibes were, as usual, amazing! Good fun yesterday at Sumner Beach. Longboards, middle length and SUP boards were riding some good piling up waves. After a huge East Swell the ocean became more tidy. Finally decided to edit this shots I took a couple of month ago. Great event at Sumner Beach. Conditions were ok but the waves were too far away from the shore, pretty hard to get them on the camera. 06/06/2024 GREAT LONGBOARD SURFING LEVEL at Sumner last Thursday. Jack Tyro and a few great surfers were out, I also got some shots from a few Christchurch legend surfers. Respect to you guys finding surf where you can. Uruguay from what I know of it is a very nice place. Punta del Este is beautiful, so is Montevideo, your capital city. Seems like there would be dome quality surf moving northward up your coast towards the Brazilian border. Is that the case? Thanks, I enjoyed your video. C A
Cheers mate! We get this type of conditions 2-3 times a year at Montevideo where the water at the beach comes mostly from the river "Rio de la Plata". The east side of the country has oceanic coastline and is more exposed to the ground swells. Love the comments like yours. Really motivates me to keep uploading videos. Cheers!!!

You should definitely keep producing your surfing videos, and develop it further. I have enjoyed fantastic surfing videos from all over the world however none from Uruguay. So I'm stoked to see yours, and all levels of surfing being enjoyed. I've surfed most of my life, and in many different places. The sport is unique, and intensely athletic.
