Such marvellous talent, in one so young and modest. Bravo!!
Amazing !
Bravo‼️ I'm a composer, arranger myself, and hearing all the wonderful things you've done with this tune makes my ears very happy‼️
I’m glad to hear your ears enjoyed it! Let’s face it, composers do work their ears overtime. Mine can be particularly quarrelsome at times; always complaining that my eyes aren’t doing enough work. I’m trying to think of the right way to tell them my eyes have been out of the picture for the better part of 20 years, but sometimes you want to avoid the awkward conversations. I don’t want to pay them overtime after all, LOL. Merry Christmas and may the next year bring you piece and harmony!
Hope you had a merry Christmas all the best for 2025
Thanks! I had a great Christmas, one of my best to tell you the truth! Hope you had a good time as well! I really appreciate your words of encouragement and I hope you have a happy new year when the time comes!.
What an amazing pianist well done ethan
That's just "wow". Your version has warmed my heart. Most passionate version I have heard so far.
Thanks so much! This is one of my all time favourites, as it reminds me of the time before Christmas when the excitement rises, which I would say are some of the best moments of the season. I hope you had a merry Christmas!
Beautiful, and always a joy to listen to you. Happy Christmas, Ethan! 🎄
Thank you so much! Christmas is the season to celestially fly where you've never flown before... I hope you have a merry Christmas as well!
Loving these christmas arrangements!!!
Thanks! I'm a big fan of Christmas arrangements.
Beautiful, Ethan. A very, merry Christmas to you too, oh! And of course to Wee Mammy who did me a huge favour this year. 😊 I hope 2025 is a huge year for you. Every success. Brian. 🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲
Thanks Brian! See you soon.
Awesome Musicianship.

one of the best pianists i've heard and he's only ~15 y/o in this recording, blows my mind shoutout to the parents for putting in all that effort for our benefit, and ofc ethan for putting in all the practice hours. i could definitely see myself traveling halfway across the world just to watch him perform
"hats off gentlemen, a genius"
woah
That was amazing! I could definitely see that owl from in there
That was absolutely beautiful full of emotion.
Water music. 😍
Breathtaking: you catch every twist and turn of the music. Just a little more ethereal touch for me please. More Debussy please - Reflets dans L'eau?
Almost finished it, things just keep getting in the way!
The sparingness of the pedal is the true sign of an excellent pianist. Such immaculate finger work and touch.
Awesome

Really good
Keep up the good work

Superb
Fabulous rendition. Fireworks, fury and lightening quick changes of mood. As usual I hear music not lots of expertly played notes.
There are so many subtle nuances in this performance. It would be great to hear a studio recording of this piece to fully appreciate the details.
agreed, this recording is pretty good but a studio setup would do him justice
I’ve heard you play this one before, but I feel that your dexterity has improved this time. Well done as always!
Wonderful playing. You can imagine water flowing and splashing. Thank you, Ethan.
Sounds amazing Ethan!
Much better than the original!
wonderful! where can I get the sheetmusic from this great piece?
Beautiful!
what precise playing, well done
This is beautiful! I heard you perform it at the concert in Glasgow in May - so happy to get to hear it again!
Thanks, I appreciate that! I was wondering how many people would recognise it. I made this a stand alone piece because I believe it's one of my finer melodies and since the concerto would take a while to produce, it would be a shame to hold it under lock and key just because the rest of the piece isn't finished yet. So happy you enjoyed!
@@EthanDavidLoch It is an absolutely lovely melody, and in such an elegant and emotional piece as well! The structure of it, too - it really tells a story. When you finish the concerto, will you make an announcement on your UA-cam channel for how we can listen to it?
