Well... I mean... It's also at the bottom of the Black Sea at this point. With how well it fared against just 2 anti-ship missiles, I wouldn't say the prospects for the remaining two are any better in the coming years lol. Russia is "claimed" to be attempting to restore one of their Kirov-class battlecruisers, but given their current ineptitude in maintaining and repairing their existing fleet, I'd wager that's never going to be completed.

SA-N-6, and OSA-M (the two missile systems on the Slava) both have minimum engagement altitudes that sea-skimming threats fly under. It should have engaged the pop-up targets, however I haven't seen the Slava-class actually fire the OSA-M at all now that you mention it. Will do some testing.

Not sure what’s happening with that. It will randomly either salvo 4-8 at once or 2. Can’t get it to salvo its whole 16 at once. Going to try messing about with it to see if I can fix that.

For some reason, the missile logic currently only fires the interceptor missile, then waits for that missile to fail before firing another. I may try and compensate for that by making them firing multiple interceptors per missile, but that would drain their stocks quicker. I’ve been waiting for Sea Power for so long. I need them to at least release some new videos.

Was only one US ship, however I had a Seahawk deployed alongside it in case of any submerged vessels, however it was shot down by an S-300. For some reason the chaff didn’t deploy on it even though it was nearby.

in Harpoon i used tyo salvo everything at the aegis ships, saving 1 ASM for each other unit. then run away

I’m not sure how to code that, as I only slightly tweaked the values for the Tico’s loadout. I’ll need to take a peak at the Kirov’s file and see if I can have it set it’s massive SA-10/S-300 stores to anti-ship mode, as that would have definitely changed the outcome here.

I've corrected this and made it to where the Kirov can now fire the S-300s as anti-ship, and will likely make a new video at a later time to try this scenario once more. Had to split the number of missiles in half between each use, so 48 are retained for anti-missile and anti-aircraft, while 48 are reserved for anti-surface vessels.

Still gets me a bit annoyed, but I can’t complain too much when I’m in my Mach-speed missile bus lol

Judging by your comment, I have a feeling that most people in WT play planes like Ace Combat. Complaining about a Su-25/39's Air to Air capability is like wanting a girl with a D. My experience with the military gives me the focus on playing specific vehicles according to their design category and doctrine they were built for. A Su-25/39 as a CAS aircraft needs to stay behind forward air superiority elements, or be escorted by air superiority elements to the target area. I understand that coordinated execution in WT is a rarity. So playing to one's strengths in the environment leads to better outcomes.

@@sztypettto absolutely. I see people that dogfighting with bomber at certian brs, an you know what? They do pretty damn well. for strike aircraft the problem isnt really the players, it's that there aren't enough strike aircraft, and there needs to be a cas mode. And before someone tells me there is already a cas mode, at 10.3 br (su25 br) literally no one does cas, it's all dogfighting.

Good idea to start out slow and get the feel for the planes you’re wanting to play in modes you’re comfortable with first, definitely! I crashed so many times starting out in Sim, though, and each time I learned a bit more lo. I still crash sometimes just due to disorientation of misjudging my energy state. If you have an Xbox controller, it’s good for setting up in Sim, as you can map a bunch of stuff to the d-pad+buttons.

Using the Ultra / max res texture packs from the launcher, then Movie / and high settings for everything else.

Understandable. RB and Sim have a much higher reward at end of match however, and the playstyles are really different. Might wanna try it out sometime!

I locked him up at over 10km. No excuse for him turning into the lock like a moron. So yeah, dude is bad. If you’re going to play at a level where F-14s and Fox-1s exist, maybe learn how to deal with them? Also, deserved for playing the game mode and downing an enemy? Big brain moment lol. You must be a Russian main to be this salty about an F-14 getting one kill. TL;DR - Git gud.

Don't normally fly out in AB. This was Assault AB for the daily booster, just fucking about.

The F4 can take it's entire bomb load, AND missile load at the same time.
