Another positional error. You have rapidly advanced into the middle of the map into a channel between islands that no-one else on your team has vision of or is close to. As soon as the enemy started capping, you should have waited for your allies to get into position, or better yet, gone with one of the groups, ideally to C since that is more open and you can spot things easier. Because you were in the middle of the map, you basically guaranteed that all ASW equipped ships would be able to launch them on you if you were spotted. If you had gone to C, then you would be making an effort to capture or assist in capture, fulfilling one of your conditions and would have been much safer. With the support of the two ships close-by, any potential enemy DDs would have had a much harder time rushing over and hydroing you, and likely wouldn't have even tried at the start of the game. As with other videos you have shown, if a DD had played in this manner, I expect that it would have been killed as well, Johnston looks to be a formidable gunboat with its SAP shells, and Somme is no slouch, it doesn't have the reload of Daring, but it's AP is still quite strong for using on broadside DDs, and it could use the hydro to push any smokes used in this situation. You need to be aware of the capabilities of your opponents, Somme is a premium close of Jutland, a DD with hydro and strong depth charges. In this game, until you knew where this ship was you should be cautious. All in all, you were killed because you put yourself into a bad situation. If you wanted to still play the middle, I think you should have recognised that you were alone, against a potential 2 DDs and 1 sub and should have played more cautiously, perhaps using the island to block LOS but not too close, probably 2km away, faced East and used the Hydrophone to scout the enemy position. Since they were capturing B, the small cap, you likely would have found them and could then play appropriately.

My trick is to dive before you think you're about to be spotted. What I've noticed with this video and your #3 video is that you wait until it's already too late before diving. Now if you play on the outside to get behind them or get good side shots you can stay afloat much longer not worrying as much about getting spotted.

The first time you were detected you simply got too close to the DM that you spotted with the hydrophone and were caught in it's hydroaccoustic search (5km). You at least turned away and dove, but you didn't look to see where the depth charges were landing and stopped turning, if you'd kept turning you'd have been able to avoid taking as much damage. Positional error. The second time you were detected (by DM's 10km Radar) you had turned in, which meant you effectively had no escape route, and brought yourself into DM's 8km ASW range. If you had kept moving away, you would have outran the depth charges, and been able to send torps at DM later. Positional error. Remember that subs have access to a skill that tells them they would be spotted if they surfaced. If a Destroyer had played like this, I believe that it would have died as well.
