Fair point, but I only went two off and they didn't black flag me until many laps later. Turns out they "were trying to get me off the track" but as I learned, they flagged an audi instead. I should've gone in, but my optimism got the best of me :)

To keep it fair, I don't believe in self reporting, used to, not anymore.

Lots of options for bike racks for these cars. You can get the roof racks too. I like this one because it mounts to the ball on my hitch and doesn’t touch the car otherwise, also leaves the trunk functional.

@@shaolongchen I don’t really have any links man, just Google bike racks for e36. This bike rack isn’t specific for an E36, it’s just a European ball hitch mount bike rack.

This was some time ago, my first time to CMP. Pretty sure I did 90-92 at the kink in a 96 Buick Century, for a 2 min flat lap I’d think you’d be going a lot faster than 90 in an M3. I think I’ll stick with having the same tires all around, and no I don’t use traction control, but I disagree with it making my car feel “broken”, I’m very familiar with how it behaves, this is my 2nd E36 and I’ve had it for 10+ years.

There are devices that use your CD changer connection that have additional functions. MediaBridge was one, not sure if they make them anymore, but there are many other variants.

Ya so I use the TrackAddict app on my iPhone which can control the goPro via wifi, all the info is captured from my phone and then I use RaceRender to put all the pieces together, it's pretty easy to use.

Andrew S Thanks for the info. I dug around online last night and found that RaceRender looks like the solution I was looking for. Is the footage in the upper right window from your iPhone?
