@@IDESTROYER236 Story mode has scripted bosses and extra attacks that appears when you do stuff, for example killing fairies and spirits lr charging and sending attacks. For stage 1 this is Extra attack → Extra attack → level 1 or 2 boss → level 5 to 8 boss (hard to know exact level but level 1-2 only has a non, level 3-4 only a spell and level 5-8 non and spell) after the last scripted boss dies you win. You can straight up kill the Ai earlier which can be useful if you don't feel like going through stage 6 penults so that happen in for example Orin story. So when you exhaust the enemy's scripted boss attacks in story mode you also win instead of depleting the lives through normal gameplay, got it @@MegaTronen

I think he meant when you pick a character other than Zanmu, you get an impossible fight with Reimu. So you're forced to play Zanmu if you don't want to lose directly to Reimu

@@echeffe4168 Ahh I think I understand now. Well Reimu fighting Reimu would be a bit weird and I have actually later on added a sprite to the enemy shooting all the bullets. The all mighty... Lily white, lol (I will try to make sens of this in the secret fight). Technically they didn't specify it being an impossible fight which would just make every run possible because the Ai suck ass at this game. Boss wouldn't even prevent the Ai from sending boss. They would just stack because how UDoALG bosses work

@@Hadaron nah if the moon sisters came for the fight, they’d win in half the time of a normal fight. They’re that broken and won’t ever be put in a game for that reason(maybe)

@@ngochoang-yr8muif i remember rightly, Zun himself stated that the Watatsuki sisters don’t appear in the games because “you’re supposed to win your games”. The difference between Yorihime and Hecatia is that Hecatia was playing around and not trying at all, Yorihime is very dutiful and was fighting to win. Reimu lost in this scenario because her ability to “float” was overridden by her percieving Yorihime as a proper threat, actually put effort into the battle, and her abilities suffered for it. Reimu is at her best when carelessly floating along

No no no, they got a point(?????). She’s simply floating away from your anti other character attack. All else fails you could make it an Easter egg for those who do Reimu.

@@Yellowpikachu1 Fun fact: I thought exactly the same. When I noticed that Reimu was surviving the Zanmu only wall and remembered that Reimu is the final boss for her. It only seems fitting that this should be left in with potentially a easter egg to it. Who knows, maybe Reimu will be the true hardes run in the mod

@@DeadMedia-vf4je I have made a code that checks if Zanmu is either player 1 or 2. If that is not the case, player 1 will have to dodge... that... With that this is a story based mod the player will always be player 1 and ai player 2. Now with how Reimu is dodging that. In the dialogue you can't be hit by anything so you are safe to position yourself correctly. Now when the round starts you will be instantly hit but I have positioned myself where the bullets spawn so I will block all bullets from spawning and I will continue doing that and maximize the i-frames. Right when it is about to end I will move out of the way so I do not get hit now when there are no bullets on the screen I have enough time to charge a c2 (I am able to charge even during the i-frames) now right before I get hit I can send of a c2 which last long enough for me to send out another c2. So I will just keep this going until the boss. After the boss dies the enemy that shoots the bullet will also die so I can play the rest of the level as normal

I mean I could just make a enemy which hitbox cover the entire screen instantly killing you with you not being able to do anything but with that Reimu is the final boss for Zanmu I felt like it being fitting that Reimu can just survive the wall anyway. Like a little easter egg (maybe I will add a secret encounter)

Casually surviving a literally infinite wall of bullets. Yeah she is without a doubt one of the most powerful characters in this game. And that's not even mentioning how bs her c3 and boss can become. Also as a bonus, even with an intro the video is still only 8 minutes long. 8 min for an Reimu LNN lol
