Totally got scammed the same as you guys, hours on a sweaty minibus with no air con, watched camels keel over taking tourists for rides while we sat out. Didn’t even see the blue hole as was the whole point of the trip! 40 mins snorkelling down the road from the blue hole. Then off to a shop that they gave us a talk on perfume that we never wanted . Waste of a day I could’ve had a better day in the local beach in Sharm.

First: Dahab is a great place. Second: I think this video is a shame for many reasons. Also: Garbage everywhere!? What do you expect. There is no professional garbage collection - everything YOU have thrown in the dustbin during your stay will land somewhere in the outback. So a lot of the garbage in many tourist destionations you have visited comes from tourists. Best wishes from Austria.

With just a little bit of research you could have avoid it. That picture of the blue hole is Belize, so definitely you had no clue where you were going

Where you went is the three pools area, it's not the blue hole. Sorry you had a bad experience at Dahab but Dahab is really amazing and have a really amazing underwater life, try to go with a trustworthy company and I promise you'll enjoy it.

I subscribed after watching that Brazilian adventure and your friend Grace was such a pawg🥵 now I'm a Morocco surfing and it's so funny because few days ago I told someone about making a poor choice. Atleast you're British so "British people to Morocco for surfing" doesn't sound that bad. But she was from north America and they have Hawaii which is known for surfing. I mean no disrespect to Moroccans but Hawaiian vibe is just different. And like I said the amount she wasted in Morocco, she could use that same amount for double times in Thailand plus the better food and beautiful culture. Not to mention you're less likely to offend anyone for eating any kind of food. On top of that you could even experience Buddhism even without needing to convert and you can visit their religious places. What do you get in morroco? Food that are not haram and some beaches lol

Dahab is magic to everyone who is willing to explore it as the pure and beautiful it is...if you are not comfortable to explore it yourself without a tour operator i honestly feel sorry for you! Dont pretend to be these cool travelers exploring things on your own if you are not! I traveled to Dahab many times on my own and you can become one with its people and the sea but i guess you more looking for a typical hotel booked trip which definitely isn't our Dahab vibe! And i dove the blue hole in Belize as well which is the one you posted btw...this really is a pathetic video! We dont want people like you in our beautiful Dahab germ and we truly don't appreciate this negativity in our beautiful place as everyone is happy here and blessed with its beautiful ocean and nature

Go with a native Egyptian. When my wife and I went to Egypt and Dahab we took our Egyptian friend with us. He had experience with Dahab since he goes at least once a year with friends and he speaks the language. He was able to open a lot of doors in a lot of ways. Plus he helped cut through some of the BS with pricing of goods and services. There are always two prices in Egypt the tourist price which is some times 3 or 4 times higher and the local price. We were able to get the local price on most things thanks to our friend. He also helped us a lot with the military checkpoints as well as we drove there. We often got waved through when he held up his Egyptian identification.

Actually Dahab has not much to offer if you are not a diver. For divers... pure awsomeness :)))
