This is the second part of a questline and the first quest that unlocks this quest is called "rite of the bold". I don't exactly remember where i started it. It involves Manqu and the weekend (children of echoes tribe chief)

@anshbaliyan6725 ok nevermind there's like three more quests to complete in order to get the quest i mentioned. Search "Rite of the bold" quest and you'll find how to get it.

Probably. My dehya is not built as a tank dehya so not sure. This is from a world quest. I can't remember the exact name of the quest. It was a world quest involving Manqu. If i remember correctly this was in the second quest of a questline. The first was "Rite of the bold".

I'm not sure but i don't think so. I think it's a fixed damage per stack. Maybe you can increase the damage by physical defense shred with superconduct or maybe with lisa burst but not sure.

Oh.. you're right. But does it work? Even with pressure washer charge attack it doesn't work sometimes. As far as I can tell the pushback is caused only if Neuvillette lands all the hits. Or if the hit crits. I'll have to check if it works

@@HMK. I tested this. It did work but i did multiple tries and I wasn't able to do it on the first charge attack hit (without dragon balls). Always took me three or more than three attacks. Problem is this attack consumes stamina. So stamina runs out so that we can't really sprint to another slime and do the same in one rotation. It will take atleast three tries i think. Also sometimes the pushback happens but looks like not far enough because the slime still reaches the cube. I'm still not sure what triggers the pushback. Might be a crit hit.

Yes. Actually pretty much every non catalyst unit can do it. But Neuvillette is the only hydro catalyst i have so far who can do it.

@@Kaira-69 now THAT is an interesting question. I have been trying to figure it out as well. I think so because I have dodged some childe attacks which i think was from an hidden in her skill. I'm still trying to figure out the timing. Any suggestions for a good enemy to practice on?

@@krimsondemon thoma's doesnt apply pyro to your character like xinyan's does, just make sure xinyan's shield doesn't break while switching so it can cause overload and cleanse you

Oh.. I knew Bennett has to work in theory so I was sure about Bennett. I didn't know Xinyan applies pyro on herself with the burst so i didn't think that would work, but it did. Thoma applies pyro on himself too but it's too brief to overload the lock.

@@krimsondemon Yeah O discovered Xinyan dodging his lightning attack by complete accident. I was able to hit the shield on him but JUST as I activated her Elemental Burst, he dodged at the right time and immediately countered with the lightning attack. But I dodged in time and I thought it was weird because he just attacked me where I once was with that move. I didn't much of it though and just thought I probably just dodged it in time(I'm pretty good at dodging in this game)

@@osiah0949 yeah that happens when that riptide mark on your character gets cleared right before Childe use that attack. Technically the lock locks onto the riptide mark and if it's cleared the lock on doesn't even show up at all

Yeah.. there's definitely easier and much faster ways. I was just showing that Neuvillette can do this. Making him the first hydro catalyst to ever do so, as far as I know.

Yeah. I did the achievement way back so I knew it was possible to hold off the slimes to defeat the cube. I just didn't think any hydro catalyst could do it until I found out that Neuvi can do this.

No one is a bad character. And Neuvillette is one of the strongest characters in game. Let's not jump the gun and see how this "new stronger, faster, funnier and overall better hydro catalyst in 5.0" will turn out to be when they get released.

@@krimsondemon oh... a set. i heard there was also a catalist that dealt physical damage, but i didn't see the catalist's projectile, so wondered what caused the damage i saw.

@@ericcardinal9138 yeah there is two actually. Eye of perception (four star) and Skyward Atlas (five tsar). These will be my go to for any non healer catalyst to do physical damage. But they both have a passive that triggers with normal attacks. So you will have to time it very precisely and even then most of the damage will be lost during the cube's invulnerable phase. With ocean hued clam set you can time the physical damage much more effectively and do more damage in a single instance. So if the character have a significant healing ability, i'd go for the clam set. Another advantage of the set is that it doesn't have a cool down. So if you heal anytime, the bubble will deal damage after 3 seconds. The weapons have cool downs. Skyward atlas has like 30 second cool down and eye of perception got like 10 or 12 seconds if i remember correctly. I sadly don;'t have the eye of perception to run some tests :(

@@krimsondemon still, if you plan making neuvillete fight the hydro tulpa, using these weapons might help a lot, since he doesn't have invulnerability. ;-)

@@ericcardinal9138 I uh... Already fought the tulpa with the same Neuvillette build. I actually fought all three hydro cube, oceanid and hydro tulpa. I have the vids uploaded a coupIe of weeks back if you want to check them out. I haven't used the Skyward Atlas with Neuvillette, but I have done so with Barbara. I think she only did like 8k damage per hit. The clam set bubble do about 20k+ per hit. And since he can heal with both skill and burst the damage was pretty consistent. I don't have the eye of perception yet to try with that weapon.

I think speed isn't the main problem. Problem is positioning the dragon balls in a central place to hit two slimes. Because as far as i can tell, if you miss even one hit from the charge attack the slime doesn't get pushed out. So you have to be facing the slime before absorbing the dragon balls and hit the slime with the full attack. That means to do it in one rotation, we have to use the burst to face two slimes at once. That's the hard part. I'm sure it can be done. But it'll take a lot of trial and error.

I did defeat the oceanid Neuvillette solo. I can post the link if you like. I defeated all hydro cube, oceanid and hydro tulpa with this Neuvillette, solo.

Yeah. I have defeated the geo cube with Ningguang couple of times. I'm pretty sure Charlotte can defeat the Cryo cube and the Dendro cube with Baizhu. Hydro cube has always being a tricky one because of the end phase slimes. Dendro cube also is a bit tricky with the "must use dendro" mechanic, but I found a little trick to do the dendro cube with just hydro characters as well. Specially Barbara.

i've seen someone kill dendro cube without dendro character. the 3 dendro things were activated by using dendrogranum.

@@ericcardinal9138 oh.. interesting. I'm guessing it was in coop or with a one shot character so the boss doesn't reset or the dendrogranum doesn't expire.

@@krimsondemon well, in the video the dude fought every boss in the game with arlechino only. no other chars. when he fought the dendro cube, he picked up the dendro grenum and killed the cube so fast he could use the dendrogranum before they despawed from her. for the pyro cube, he used the water nearby to destroy the pyro shield. the's only a few boss he couldn't killed. i recently tried finding this video again, but i can't seem to find it. if you do find it, i'd appreaciate a link. this was amazing.
