    I bought the same tool box today at the swap meet for $10. It is in better shape but, it's missing the top tray and it was full of old tools and sockets. By the way, good job.

    Coincidentally I was just out in my shed, looking for something and came across two tool boxes in a cabinet. One of them is exactly like the one featured in this video go figure. They belonged to my wife’s grandfather, and were given to me when he passed away. Great video your tool box looks awesome and you’ll have a treasure for a lifetime.

    How were you able to remove the wheels? Im having trouble taking them off without damaging the wheel itself. Also do you know why the logo it had first didn't have the kid on the wagon? I have the exact same one and i cant find much information on it or what year its from. Mine doesn't have serial number. Thanks.

    I’m in the process of restoring and customizing some as well. Super nice work, I know it’s a long process. I Did two as gifts and now looking to possible sell online with a customizable option. Do you keep for yourself, get hired to restore, or do you restore and resell?

      I mostly restore to practice and keep the items myself. I usually keep them til i find someone who needs it, then i can gift it, and they can see the work put into it

    Beautiful job with the paint restoration. Was that a new clear coat over “rust” product? I’ve seen products that are wipe on now for this process.

    • @CoronaConstruction
      @CoronaConstruction Рік тому

      All I did was buff with compound, then buff with polish.. I haven't even put a clear coat on yet. I was thinking of using the Poppys Patina wipe on clear coat, but was waiting for the weather to let up a little over here.. We will see.

    • @CoronaConstruction

    Nice, where did you get the wheels

    • @CoronaConstruction
      @CoronaConstruction Рік тому

      Got them when I bought the truck a few months ago.. Wish I knew more.

    • @halseyknox
      @halseyknox Рік тому

      The size wheels that came on that truck would have been 16.5 but, since tires for that size wheel are just about impossible to find go with either a 16" or 17"....I forget the name of the manufacturer but they make a 17" old school slotted mag wheel that would be perfect for that truck

    • @CoronaConstruction
      @CoronaConstruction Рік тому

      @@halseyknox if you could find those 17" ones your talking about, send me the link.. I'd love to check them out because I definitely wanna switch them out.

    • @halseyknox
      @halseyknox Рік тому

      @@CoronaConstruction no problem....I looked them up after my last comment I sent you...they are U.S. Indy U101 slotted mags. They are 17"x10" wheel which is a perfect size for a 33"-35" tire....you have bitchen truck. I have a 70 F250 2wd with a 3" autofab lift but sure wish I had highboy

    • @halseyknox
      @halseyknox Рік тому

      @@CoronaConstruction Don't what your budget is but those U.S Indy mags are pretty expensive. There are alternatives that are a less expensive: American Racing has a wheel they call the outlaw which isn't a slotted mag but still an old school aftermarket style and if look you can find other options. Hell I'd even consider correct size steel wheels as that's what came stock on that truck anyway and a 8" wide steel wheel can accommodate 33" size tires. Whatever you do don't go bigger than 17" wheels. The big wheel fad on 60's/70's era classic cars and trucks have ran there course and people are now embracing correct size wheels to keep their cars and trucks period correct. That's just my opinion
