for problem 24,it's not really easy to make that observation ,what i've done is found the height by using many similar triangles like 30-60-90 and 120 - 30-30,it took me like 4 minutes to get that answer

Yes. However, it would be easier to count 8 numbers than 36!

The ratio of the smaller number(aka the smaller side of the small triangle) to the bigger number(aka the bigger side of the small triangle) is 2-√3, giving us the answer choice C.

In question 17, you use a formula to find how many factors 2020 has. I understand how to use the formula but can you explain why the formula works? 52:03
I'm thinking you don't understand the +1 in the formula. The plus one is the one extra possiblity that you don't use the factor. For example if you get 2^3 in the prime factorization, you have 4 options. To use one 2, two 2s or three 2s or no 2 at all .

Im wondering why Q27 cannot be 3? the even number can be 0 right, and the smallest value for the odd one is 3.
q23 ab+a+b = (a+1)(b+1) - 1. So if an answer choice plus one were prime, it would not be possible. Thus you can find C gives 88 + 1 which is prime, instead of guessing values of a and b.

for ques 14 , you could instead of taking a lucky guess , try to rule out possibilities by checking whether or not the given number satisfies the equation , i.e for a ratio of 5:7 the number has to be divisible by 12 and secondly upon subtracting 20 from the number (10 of each colour) the number has to be divisible by 13 (ratio of 5:8) and in all the given number 72 is the only one satisfying these conditions.
Or use algebra: Initial ratio: 5x : 7x After 10 balls are removed the ratio is: 5y : 8y We can construct two equations as 10 balls are removed of each colour: 5x - 10 = 5y 7x - 10 = 8y 40x - 80 = 40y 35x - 50 = 40y 5x = 30 x = 6, y = 4 5*6 + 7*6 = 72 balls originally in the bag
