My favorite detail of the Vindicator is the forward lasers that actually turn and fire rapidly. One of my favorite ships so far. :)

A nother nice video, but mabe avoide cuting it in 2 by inseting what your next project will be? It gives a bit of spolier vibes and disruptes the flow of the video.

I don't just like this ship, I adore it. I'll never forget the first time I saw a Venator during the opening of Episode III, I completely fell in love. I still, to this day firmly believe that the Venator class Star Destroyer is a more iconic ship than her later bigger sisters the ISDs.. she's just beautiful..

In the early shots it reminded me of *Scorpio* from *_Blake's 7._* That was the new hero ship for the final season... and damn I'm old.
Always find it funny that putting 1-3 artillery walkers in the hanger was "brilliant tactics" But putting a battalion in the top bay and just rolling around one-shotting everyone wasn't considered.
Giving the New Republic a heroic looking counterpart to the Imperial Star Destroyer is a clever and cathartic development in the Legends canon, it's a thematic reversal of the dynamic of corvettes and fighters against Star Destroyers and something the New Republic would logically do, taking lessons from both the old Republic Navy and the Imperial Navy. I know this is a dead horse, but the Disney canon reverting to evil Star Destroyers vs goodie stub fighters and a small fleet of little ships was the most boring story choice possible.

ISD-II’s when?
My favorite ship in Legends. A solid Jack of All Trades that NOT too big because really big things tend to get wrecked by little things in Star Wars(3 A-wings vs. the Executor, R2-D2 vs Eclipse Super Star Destroyer and Galaxy Gun, etc.)

Venator class star destroyers are some of the best if not the best looking ship in the Star Wars universe.

I am going to learn this whole narration by heart, so I can passionately deliver it the next time anyone calls the Star Destroyer design "boring" or "just a triangle".
The Venator was awesome. Its upsetting it was supposedly written out for ISD, a worse ship. Upsetting .
And that was because the Venator didn't fit in with the Tarkin Doctrine. Which was a doctrine that doomed the imperial navy once the rebel alliance got ships able to out-run and disable ISDs.
Wow, man - this was done really, really well. This was done so accurately and so intentionally, I’m almost expecting our Air Force to have them, right now. When I started deep diving into Lore, I wasn’t a big fan of the Venator, but after learning about it and watching and reading stories which involve the ship, it’s turning into a favorite.
I could watch that like a movie in theaters. Potential is high. Even with ai I can tell there was something here

I hate ai scripts
It's no secret that I use AI to enhance and expand my scripts. However, all of my scripts are still written by me, along with all the planning, recording, editing, and everything in between. For The Venator, it was still a week's worth of work, using every day besides my full-time job to work on it. So, I'm curious where all the hate for AI is coming from when it's used to enhance the experience and content? It's not like I'm making money off of it; it's just for pure enjoyment for both you and me. I'm genuinely asking because I see no downside to it

@@SargeRho Ditto. AI is fueled by extremely exploitative business practices, and no one ever seems to be addressing this fact.
A.I. and Robotics belong in the home not in business. In the vast majority of cases, you don't need a robot on a factory floor or anywhere else really. Except to make your day easier, So I say big deal, never been short on time? Never had to write a long script but it was midnight? The A.I. saves time making a project that could take months to make on an already busy personal schedule a mere few weeks.
@@VanillaAmbienceHatred for AI comes from ignorance, mostly, although other factors are also attributable: misconceptions, prejudices and baseless fears often rooted in a fundamental misunderstanding of AI's role in our society, how it functions, misinformation and sensationalism which shape people's views, all contribute to the perpetuation of this unnecessary hatred. Ignore the haters, they're not worth your time.
