DO YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN?
∙ Jesus provides the only way to heaven through His sacrificial death on the cross. There is no other way to heaven.
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4.12)
------------------------------
HOW TO BE SAVED
∙ The only way to go to heaven when you die is to admit that you are a sinner, ask God for forgiveness of your sins, accept that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and returned to life 3 days later, and follow God by turning away from sin.
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10.9)
∙ Salvation (being saved from sin) is a free gift from God (the gift is called grace) that God gives to all who believe in Jesus (belief is called faith). Doing good things (called works) cannot get you to heaven, because everybody still has sin that can only be forgiven by accepting Jesus’ death on the cross for your sins.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2.8-9)
∙ No matter what you’ve done in life, God loves you and wants you to live in heaven forever with Him (2 Peter 3.9). Are you willing to ask God for forgiveness of your sins?
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3.16)
------------------------------
∙ GOD. There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6.4), and He exists in 3 persons. the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3.16-17). He is uncreated and has always existed (Psalm 90.2).
∙ PEOPLE. God created all things (Revelation 4.11), and He created people for a special relationship with Him (Genesis 1.27).
∙ SIN. God is perfect (Leviticus 19.2), but people are not perfect and do/think bad things called sin (Romans 3.23).
∙ SEPARATION. Sin separates us from our perfect God (Isaiah 59.2) and from perfect heaven (1 Corinthians 6.9-10).
∙ HEAVEN or HELL. God loves us so much that He has made a way to heaven through Jesus (John 3.16), but those that reject Jesus will go to hell (Matthew 13.41-43).
∙ SACRIFICE. Jesus died on a cross and took the punishment for our sins as a sacrifice (1 Peter 2.24) and returned to life 3 days later, showing that Jesus defeated death (1 Corinthians 15.3-8).
∙ GOD the SON. Jesus defeated death as the only person that ever lived a perfect life (Hebrews 4.14-15), because He is God the Son who became a person (John 1.14). Jesus is fully God and fully human.
∙ SAVIOR. Jesus is the Savior (Luke 2.11), the Christ (Matthew 16.16), the promised Messiah (John 1.41, 45). He alone can save you from your sins (Acts 4.12).

Amen and amen! I'm thankful for this devotional. Thank you for sharing. Being immersed in God's Word is not only a duty, it's a delight! And it brings great freedom as we walk and fight the good fight of faith, freedom that only the Lord can provide. This devotional makes me think about how differently the world views "freedom" and what freedom truly is. Something to dwell on and be thankful for, but also something to be on guard about... it's easy to replace true freedom with seemingly freedom in our everyday lives, in the "little" things day to day, if we're not careful. We need the Word to remember, and to set our hope and hearts on eternal things. God's Word is awesome! (I needed this reminder)
Amen!
THANKS So if people die will they go for Judgment.. I need your number because I Have so many questions about this ❤️❤️
Hi @EvelynWalaquine. That's a great question! Thank you for reaching out. There is a type of judgment and reward at death in the intermediate state (when body and soul are separated). There is final judgment at the resurrection of the unjust (lost). There is final reward at the resurrection of the just (saved). Our video about "Where Does My Soul Go When I Die?" might be helpful. ua-cam.com/video/UBZ0BH1qGvY/v-deo.html Blessings, Pastor David
If you want to see America change, our leaders to be holy, and our government to be just, the people of America must turn to Jesus. Christians, Jesus has given you a job to do. We must fulfill the Great Commission. Jesus tells us, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you" (Matt 28.19-20). Point people to Jesus, pray for revival, pray for a move of the Spirit, share the gospel (John 3:16), and be holy because God is holy (1 Pet 1.15). I encourage you to listen to this week's sermon, "A Political Message" from 2 Chronicles 27.2. Be challenged and encouraged as you are reminded that God is in control!
Thank you for this! Look forward to tomorrow’s sermon!

Beautiful ..soul Sleep is not biblical..everything you said is verified through scriptures
Thank you, Dorothy. You are correct. Sleep is used to describe the body at rest, but the soul is very much alive! Praise the Lord!
Needed this word. Thank you . God led me to this video and asked me to watch it. I hesitated, but I don’t regret listening
Praise the Lord!
God Created All Living Beings. After Sometime Every Thing Perishes. That is Only Visible.
So true!
Genesis 2: 17.
Spiritual death, separation from God, occurred the day Adam and Eve took of the tree. Physical death was certain to follow, but God in His mercy and grace gave them an opportunity to repent to receive spiritual life.
Please Help me I Believe Jesus Is The Son Son of God and God The Son of The Holy Trinity I Believe Jesus Shed His Blood and Died in my place to Pay for All my Sins He Was Buried Then 3 Days Later Jesus Arose From The Dead!!! But I am struggling with some Sins that I honestly don’t know how to quit I hate my Sins But I genuinely don’t know how to stop them Am I still Saved because of my faith in Jesus or am I Not Saved because of my Sins? Am I born again because of my faith in Jesus or is there something more I need to do? Thank you for All your Help and Time God Bless you
@monicadhaliwal1791, Thank you for reaching out. A person is saved by grace through faith, not works (Ephesians 2.8-10). When a person accepts Jesus as our Savior, that person is justified. That means the person is declared not guilty. Jesus takes that person's sin and its punishment, and that person is given His perfect record (2 Cor 5.21). When a person is saved, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within that person (Rom 8.9). Through the work of the Holy Spirit, a person is sanctified (2 Cor 5.17; 2 Thess 2.13). That means the person is being set apart for holiness. This is an ongoing process where we are being made more like Jesus (Heb 10.14). The process of holiness is not complete until a Christian is glorified, raised from the dead (Rom 8.11). Christians can be assured that God will finish what He started in making us holy (Phil 1.6). As for dealing with indwelling sin, a Christian must submit to God everyday. God calls Christians to be holy (1 Pet 1.16). If a Christian sins, she grieves the Holy Spirit who dwells within her (Eph 4.30). God is never pleased with sin. Sin always equals loss, and sin will make us doubt our salvation. It is not always easy, but we must deal with it. I think the fact that you are grieved by your sin shows God is working on you. God has promised that with every temptation, He makes a way of escape for the Christian (1 Cor 10.13). There is a way of escape. Go to God's Word, pray, and seek the assistance of your brothers and sisters in Christ. If you sin, you can be assured that God is always ready to faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness (1 John 1.9; 2.1). Remember that a person is saved because of Jesus' work on the cross, not because that person is a "good" person. Your good works will not get you into heaven. It is very important to understand justification. I did a 4-part Bible study on the Christian life of holiness that you can watch here: ua-cam.com/play/PLB5AQLvjXzaGsBnB0SYkL8Hhv6OsHf4hG.html. I do believe it will be helpful in explaining justification, sanctification, and glorification. The video "How Can I Go to Heaven?" may also answer some of your questions. ua-cam.com/video/4rpLEril6Tc/v-deo.html I also did a video series on the Trinity that may be helpful in understanding who God is. ua-cam.com/play/PLB5AQLvjXzaE1F5Ur-p6Mifbc9323VxBG.html I have prayed for you. I would encourage you to connect with a Bible believing church and seek the help of a trusted Christian friend in the church. May God richly bless you. In Christ, Pastor David
Fear the Creator, the unknown God; and give Him glory. Worship Him who made the Earth, the sky, nature, space, and all everything that is created. (Revelation 14:7) As I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found an altar with this inscription: "To the unknown God." Who therefore has saved you as unknown is the same Jesus Christ I now proclaim to you. (Acts 17:23) Jesus Christ is the image of the unknown God: The first-born of all creation; for by Him all things were created: In Heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities-all things were created by Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:15-16)

The resurrection is a great truth for Christians!
@@littlestevenscreek A great truth indeed! John 5:28,29. The resurrection is the hope all true Christians who are looking forward to that day. It reads: '' Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his, {Jesus'}, voice, and come out. Those who did good things to a resurrection of life and those who did vile things to a resurrection of judgment.'' Acts 24: 15 also reminds us: '' And I have hope toward God... that there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous.'' The meek will inherit the earth, Mt.5:5; Psa.37:9-11,29 Rev. 21:1-7. Seek the true God Jehovah and you too can live forever on earth! and be united with dead loved ones and friends! Zeph.2:3.
Did Jesus go tp paradise after his death or to the grave? Where the common is placed in this verse changes the implications of what Jesus meant. Assurdely I say to yoy today...meaning I am telling you Now ..... that in the future recurrection you will be with me.
Thank you for your reply. The comma before “today” is also grammatically appropriate in translation. This is supported by other verses that describe the soul departing to be with God. Jesus stated that He was giving His spirit to God at death (Matt 27.50). This is also described as Jesus giving up the ghost (Luke 23.46). In a parable, Jesus described Lazarus’ soul being taken to heaven and it is implied that his body is buried. It is clear that the rich man’s body was buried, and his soul was in hell. The spirits of both Lazarus and the rich man were alive (Luke 16.19-31). Paul expected his soul to enter into the presence of Christ at death (2 Cor 5.8; Phil 1.23). One final example is found in Revelation 6.9-11. John describes the souls of martyrs alive in heaven. This is before the resurrection of believers. I hope these passages are helpful. May God bless you in your studies of His Word.
@@littlestevenscreek How do you explain John 3:13 then? I have always wondered about that verse and whether or not we go to heaven when we die or are our souls sleeping as it describes in other verses.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS 1) Without looking at your definition, how would you explain glorification to a non-believer? 2) Why is our sanctification not complete until the resurrection? 3) What does Jesus’ resurrection tell us about our resurrection that is to come? 4) What will be different about our glorified bodies? 5) Where will Christians live forever? 6) How does understanding glorification give us proper perspective about our future?
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS 1) Without looking at your definition, how would you explain spiritual warfare to a non-believer? 2) What tactics do the devil and his demons use against Christians? 3) Why would ignoring or focusing too much on the devil be a bad approach? 4) What resources has God given us to be victorious in spiritual warfare? 5) What may be some “ways of escape” from temptation? 6) Why is God’s Word so important in spiritual warfare?
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS 1) Without looking at your definition, how would you explain sanctification to a non-believer? 2) How is sanctification different from justification? 3) Why do we have ups and downs in our sanctification? 4) Why are spiritual disciplines (including church) important for sanctification? 5) What is the Holy Spirit’s role in sanctification? 6) Why does a Christian not lose their salvation when they sin?
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS 1) Without looking at your definition, how would you explain justification to a non-believer? 2) Why did Jesus have to die? Why couldn’t God just forgive us our sins without the cross? 3) What is imputation? 4) Why is it important to make a distinction between justification and regeneration? 5) What problems may arise if a person thinks that salvation only involves justification? 6) How can justification give you assurance about your salvation?
The trinity is just a CONVENTIONAL DOCTRINE invented in the fourth century, Jesus Himself had NO IDEA of what a trinity is supposed to be! The doctrine is EXCEEDINGLY nonsensical and is NOWHERE in the bible (Jesus is NEVER with Father and Holy Spirit). For example, here "NO MAN KNOWS, no, not the angels in heaven or THE SON, BUT THE FATHER ONLY knows." You can see that - contrary to the doctrine - neither the Son, nor the alleged (non-existing) THIRD person of the trinity is CO-ALMIGHTY. They don't know the future, the doctrine is thus FALSE. The Truth - intentionally ignored by the trinity inventors - is that Jesus crystal clear reiterates dozens of times to be ONLY with the Father ("I am in the Father and the Father in me"), not with TWO Person! The Father with Jesus is A SPIRIT ("God [the Father] is a spirit") and was called "Holy Spirit" (or "Holy Father") by Him. That Spirit helped/helps Jesus. He is a kind of "REFLECTION" of the "normal" Father who is ABSENT: "No man has seen God at any time" "the world has not known you". Only Jesus DID it (only in the past). A "Reflection" means that NOBODY is actually here (or in heaven) this is why Jesus is the ONLY KING OF HEAVEN, not God. Thus, the Son does NOT sit next to God. Jesus sits next to the "POWER of God" because He hasn't got any OWN power, He is like a normal man.
Thank you for your reply. While the doctrine of the Trinity may be difficult for us to grasp, it is a biblical doctrine. God has revealed Himself as one God who exists in three persons. The First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea in the fourth century was to address the heresy that stated that God the Son was created. The discussion of this heresy and future challenges to orthodoxy resulted in the gathered bishops working together to define the Trinity, but they did not invent the Trinity. The Father, Son, and Spirit appear together at Jesus’ baptism (Matt 3.16-17). Jesus prayed to the Father (John 17.1). Jesus stated that He and the Father would send the Spirit (John 14.26; 15.26). Before Jesus ascended, He commanded the disciples to baptize believers in the name (singular) of the Father, Son, and Spirit (Matt 28.19). A more detailed discussion of the Trinity can be viewed through the link below. It is a three-part video series that should be helpful. May God bless you. ua-cam.com/play/PLB5AQLvjXzaE1F5Ur-p6Mifbc9323VxBG.html
Over and over again, God says he's one, not 3 in 1. Believing in a trinity goes a long way to canceling Christ's ability to save you. If Jesus isn't completely God and lacks nothing of the Father, then he isn't God at all. We can't confuse God's omniscience with his oneness.
Hi Tom. Thank you for your reply. I agree that Jesus is fully God, and His identity is critical to salvation. This sermon does not go deep into this very complicated discussion. If you are interested, we have a three-part video series that discusses the Trinity more in depth. I've included the playlist below. ua-cam.com/play/PLB5AQLvjXzaE1F5Ur-p6Mifbc9323VxBG.html Blessings, Pastor David
😢God is not three
Hi Morena, Thank you for your reply. God is not three in the same way that He is one, for there is only one God. If you are interested, we have a three-part video series that goes into more detail about the doctrine of the Trinity. I've included the link to the playlist below. ua-cam.com/play/PLB5AQLvjXzaE1F5Ur-p6Mifbc9323VxBG.html Blessings, Pastor David
@@littlestevenscreek blessings to you too
only one time in the book of revelations does it refer to beheading and it refers to people that will not bow down and worship the beast and people who are targeted for being christians. it says that they will be ruling for 1000 years in judgment with christ. we need to remember that david eubank, and the people that turned away their eyes from his evil deeds facilitating terrorist organizations will be judged, even by those who were beheaded that believe in Christ and resisted worshiping Allah.
Thank you for your reply.
@@littlestevenscreek YW. It would be helpful for us as people that are studying the Bible in Key West, Florida and Iraq to know what translations you are using. Thank you.
We generally use the New King James Version.

I was younger and I was texting someone and I was I learned and stupid and I was texting someone and I got mad and said “if it don’t say it I’ll make it say it” kinda and I texted a person to help them and I changed the verse to for their situation and presented it as if that’s what Gods word said and I’m afraid it’s Unforgivable
Hi Jordan. It tells a lot that you feel guilt about your actions. If you ask for forgiveness, God will forgive you. I think this video about the "Unforgivable Sin" might be helpful. ua-cam.com/video/X63rrVAQngA/v-deo.html
Father God, I bind one in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ to be made clear what sanctity of life means to you and what consequences of trespassing that sanctity of life are, binding to hell being unequally yoked and having any common share with those who have taken from my blood and therefore from my life, in accordance with this word and genesis 9:5-7, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
Blessings to you in the name of Christ!
Death is looked at as "sleep" because both death and sleep of the body are *temporary*. That is what the bible wants us to get.
Very true!
How is Luke 16 a parable though, when we know that Abraham was a real man and was the great great great etc grandfather of Jesus humanly speaking in the sense of a DNA line to get mary, and Jesus is human. (but Jesus is also the Son of God and divine). Abraham is not make believe.
I appreciate your feedback. I agree. Abraham is not make believe. It was certainly not my intention to make it sound that way. Some theologians refer to Luke 16 as a parable and others believe Jesus was teaching with a real story of Lazarus and the rich man. The text does not plainly state either. Either way, Jesus' makes it plain that it is appointed once for men to die and after this comes the judgment. Blessings, Pastor David
Chilling scripture. I am so glad I am COVERED in the BLOOD OF THAT LAMB OF GOD who takes away the sins of the world, and I am spiritually circumcised! Praise be to the Head of the One New Mankind, and his shed blood for me!
Amen!
🙏🙏🙏🙏
May God richly bless you!
Tonight, I attended a Thanksgiving service at a local church in my hometown. This was read as a responsive reading.
That's great! Psalm 100 is a beautiful Psalm and perfect for Thanksgiving.
The Bright Morning Star.
Hope you enjoyed the Bible study.
I bind myself, but also my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ to believe Christ has died and risen from death, while binding myself not to be unequally yoked with and have any common share with those who do not believe Christ died and has risen from death, in accordance with this word 1 thessalonians 4:14, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah! Glory to God, glory to Jesus!
He is alive!
