My favorite cast!

Wow! Such a unique perspective! I thoroughly enjoyed this look at a very rare point of view of this show. Gotta love the definitive original production of Phantom. So funny because literally 2 days ago I discovered a similar video shot from the same unique and very rare perspective but of the 2002 Mexican production of Les Miserables! Must be a coincidence for both videos to be uploaded here days apart by different accounts. I also love that they show the auditorium of the Circus Theatre where Les Miserables also played there in the early 90's. I had heard the seating was unique and was stadium-like but couldn't imagine how that worked out for shows like Phantom and Les Mis but now I see; it's definitely stadium-like but on a much smaller scale which surprisingly works really well and offers unique views for the audience sitting on the sides. Awesome theatre!

Now we just need the 2007 Broadway Overture track. For some reason London played around with the title track while Broadway later began to fool with Overture only for them both to pick up slightly updated versions of the Vegas tracks in 2008 (the Vegas tracks ARE different from the London and US ones)

This is really good and in the old days of Pianofiles, I can think of a number of people that would have gone mad for this - myself included LOL! Did you use the new Mel-RoFormer by Gabox Fv5 model for it by any chance? It gives a cleaner result when used in conjunction with the correct phase etc post production option than the Mel-RoFormer by Unwa V1E in my opinion.

If Nerene (jodie)played Christine...Jeff's kiss would have been meaningful and passionate..it would have NOT been an acting kiss...it would have been a genuine passionate kiss............they were a couple in Today's Special!!!

Just thinking about this the other day...no matter who plays Phantom and Christine...it would have been better just before the Phantom dissapears under his cape at the end if the lyrics were "YOU ALONE HAVE MADE MY SONG TAKE FLIGHT.....IT'S OVER NOW THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT"...signaling the end of the story and the show.........not MAKE but MADE.....

If Christine took off Jeff's mask during the show , would he turn into a mannequin!!! A Today's Special crossover with Phantom!!! Yes I know it's the hat off he changes into a mannequin......but the mask has more importance in Phantom.......

Another T.S. lover with Hocus Pocus Alimagocus man himself!!! How would this be if Nerene Virgin played Christine!!! Or as we know Nerene as Jodie!!! Jeff as Phantom..........Jodie/Nerene as Christine!!!

This is a perfect example of a musical piece that suits me in the title role character of me as The Phantom of The Opera and I would highly recommend it when doing a recording for the soundtrack and making it sound like a musical if this could be downloaded to MP3

Great work, as always. I'll be honest, I've never really liked this orchestration, even though I've seen it live a lot. I like the original version but prefer the latest version.

IMO if they wanted to give the title song sort of a modern sound they should’ve stayed with this one and keep the modern pre-recorded part as the Las Vegas exclusive

I’m….speechless…jaw dropped…wide-eyed… *gathers myself*…. Firstly, how I came to know of Phantom of the Opera was when I watched the 2004 Phantom of the Opera movie in theater. It was and is my most favorite take on Webber’s version. He himself deliberately in the movie brought the actual romance & relationship between Christine in Phantom as he dreamed & intended. The movie gave him the chance to right some of the wrongs of his play, which that version continued for tradition. While Webber’s first live play of his rendition tried to retain the horror factor of Phantom in the book in those early days & also Christine’s fear, added in a type of love story more focused on the Phantom’s selfish lustful desire towards Christine that he’s been starved & holding back of. But, as year’s passed, met Joel Schumacher, who had more developed ideas of romance between Phantom & Christine & this Webber discussed with & agreed with it, also being eager to make these ideas into a movie he waited long for. While Christine in Crawford’s version shows an expression of waiting to see if Phantom would display a change even after lingering the 2nd kiss, Christine in the movie expresses acceptance, happiness & if Phantom would also be as happy as her, however, realizing her love/acceptance of him despite being a murderer/literally about to kill her childhood friend caused a deep reaction of his love, revelation & remorse deep in his bones. Crawford actually portrays this movement, deep thought, remorse & compassion after Christine kisses him as he struggles to contemplate to do what he’s longed for or do the right thing. I truly applaud Crawford of his performance. I’m blown away… just blown away.. How I wish to have been in the audience of his performance!! Crawford’s & Phantom of the Opera 2004 movie are my favorite equally!

That's my uncle Sergio Lombana. Cuban born, immigrated to the United States. He taught himself how to play the piano and sing. With his talents was able to move to Austria to pursue his dream and made it on the stage of The Phantom of the Opera in Vienna Austria. More than Proud of you Tio. R.I.P

Robert was the phantom when I saw it live in L.A. on a choir trip with my highschool in 1989 or 1990 (can't remember). His voice was aged and eerie which made it the perfect Phantom. I have never enjoyed anyone else as much as him doing it.

The very first time i saw this musical, Jeff Hyslop was the Phantom. I was already a fan from his show Today's Special, so i was just so happy to see him. He holds a special place in my heart for sure. ❤❤❤

Если бы такое исполнение было бы в фильме 2024-го года, я бы не смогла его, наверное, даже один раз до конца досмотреть) А с Джерардом Батлером и Эмми Россум готова слушать и смотреть бесконечно. Ни в коем случае не умаляю достоинства Сары и Майкла, тем более они были первыми, просто еще раз убедилась в том, насколько верна поговорка, что о вкусах нее спорят!
