Dad got a V40 in 2005-2017. Fasten seatbelt relay sounds same than this 240. So, they have been using same relay for 30 years.... :D

Remember to try to not start the car with the clutch presses down, not only does it add more resistance to the engine, but you’re putting extra load on the front main bearing, which has poor lubrication when the engine is cold. Not only that, but the tread bearing gets worn down quickly with the clutch down, this also applies to idling with clutch down even with the engine hot, albeit it doesn’t see as much wear when hot as cold. Furthermore these older cars usually have a graphite tread bearing which doesn’t hold up very well. My nagging aside, the car started great in the cold, Volvos are proper winter beaters those.

These cars are definitelly a "fools gold" , no value no beauty or charm, the physical manifestation of the horrid grocery store commercials of sweden back then.

For my whole childhood, my mom owned an early-mid 1980's Volvo 244 in the same blue color. Watching this made a ton of memories come back. Glorious car.

But you forget about the big Mecanic hydroTermo Cooling fan on the B21/B23 engine cant miss that one in a startup!😂
