My wife Caught a 27” gator trout north Galveston jetty in the summer on live shrimp in the 90s.

I'm really confused. Can someone help me choose a kayak? I want it to be relaxing and chill, but also fast and easy to maneuver. I don't fish, but I want to be able to sit on top and have plenty of leg room. I've been looking at the Pescador Pro 12, the Bonafide RS117, the Wilderness Radar, and the Oldtown Sportsman and Predator. What do you think?

Well done! Sometimes I find that if I'm putting too much pressure the hooks will pull. When I know it's a trout I ease up and take my time. Nice stringer!

I think you mentioned that you were using mullet. I noticed that you had a trolling motor connected to your kayak. Can you tell me what type of setup you have with that trolling motor? Looks like you have a Ole Town Big Water similar to mine.
