6 Minutes with the Make Noise XPO
Переглядів 4,4 тис.2 роки тому
HEADPHONES / STEREO SPEAKERS ENCOURAGED FOR STEREO IMAGE This is NOT a comprehensive demo of this module, rather a quick exploration of the XPO under heavy modulation, doing the things I've enjoyed with it the most over the past few months of using it with the Maths Qpas. The first segment uses shows the L doing PWM and R channel doing waveshaping. The 2nd segment shows dual wavefolding, sync i...
Make Noise Shared System + Strega + 0-Coast Krell
Переглядів 1,2 тис.2 роки тому
A triple "Krell" Patch for the Make Noise Shared System, Strega, and 0-Coast family. This explores 3 individual, fluctuating random patches for each synthesizer with a few things to bring them all together into one giant patch with a common output. Look out for the 3:30 minute mark as things get real bananas :) For those unfamiliar with the Krell patch, please see Todd Barton's glorious overvie...
Korg OpSix + Make Noise Strega

5 Quick patches for the Korg OpSix Make Noise Strega. This might seem like an unlikely couple but the Strega's foggy analog processing of the OpSix's glassy sound is a fantastic match.
Zlob VC F3DB First Look
Переглядів 6 тис.3 роки тому
A first look at this fantastic new 6-Band Voltage Controlled Filterbank by Zlob Modular. Patch examples including manual filtering, drum processing, voltage controlled filter animation, 'vocoding' and some exploitations using the filterbank as a chaotic audio source. This is a GREAT filterbank capable of some very unique overdrive and distortion functions that set it apart from all other filter...
Make Noise Strega + O-Coast

Make Noise Strega & 0-Coast being sequenced by Rene' 0-Ctrl transposing 0-Coast This is a similar patch to one used on the track "Stolen Dreamtime" on my Electronic Hypnosis Program LP, released on Make Noise Records You can find that record here: www.makenoisemusic.com/adjuncts Listen Here: brettnaucke.bandcamp.com/album/electronic-hypnosis-program Thanks for watching!
Make Noise 0-CTRL, 0-Coast, & Mimeophon
Переглядів 5 тис.4 роки тому
Little patch featuring a great Make Noise trinity. O-Ctrl controlling both 0-Coast and Mimeophon. Endless possibilities with this little mini-easel type set up and features a great medium between expressive user control and 'hands off' generative behavior. No other modules or effects used. Speakers or Headphones highly recommended for stereo experience :)
Qu-Bit Surface & Make Noise Mimeophon
Переглядів 2,1 тис.4 роки тому
Exercise in using the Qu-Bit Surface as a plucked guitar of sorts, inspired by Steve Reich's "Electric Counterpoint". Additional processing through the Make Noise Mimeophon for tape echo-ish timed repeats/blur. Other patch notes: Sequences coming from Make Noise Rene, transposed by O-Ctrl, Additional modulation from Maths.

Such surreal expressions. Like a living abstract oil painting 🔥 ❤
Sweet tones❤ 🔥 subscribed 🙏
Rene mk2?
What is controlling the notes on the 0 coast? Do you have a keystep or something similar?
Rene
Very nice. The sound is coming from the opsix and being processed in the strega? Just trying to figure it out, i have the miniogue xd and thinking of trying new sounds.
Very nice.
wicked
What is it😅😅 so odd haha
Ace
love the sounds you get out of those primary modules.
beautiful!
Bro this is incredible
Sounds great!
That OpSix patch at 2:43 is awesome. Just love it.
That looks like the 0-ctrl not Rene
I don't usually make it to the end of these kinds of demos. What an odd and oddly good pairing.
🔥
You do well with this brand of modules.
Great sounds! Can’t wait to get mine. Hope you’ve been well!
Sounds amazing Brett!! Thanks for the ear candy 😌🎶
Well done buddy, really nice! Subbed!
Wow! This is great! Thanks!
very nice
that's nice control of some hectic instruments.. the rene note sequence is mesmerizing
Its a pity you have so few videos published. Top notch modular stuff
Ghost in the machine
Seems like evil serge resonant EQ but there’s CV outputs too. I’m in.
inspiring!
Great sounds!
really nice - always wanted a Serge Res EQ, i think i'll build one of these instead.
Beautiful sequences 🙂
Very groovy. I have the MN threesome as well. Amazing bit of kit. Only wish I could more clearly see, how you have this patched together. Is note sequencing provided by the O-Control?
hello. i get my make noise strega. how can i connect it with my synth asm hydrasynth. where are the inputs?
The upper left section of the Strega is the external input section. I'd read the manual for the Strega to further explore how the section works/patch ideas for involving external gear
Masterful. Love it.
Very cool noise ! Thx a lot 🎼
Wild patchin'!! ⚡🎶⚡
Sounds great man well done
You make some of the best make noise krell like patches on UA-cam.
Thanks J2k, Glad you think so!
this is unbelievable. keep sharing content like this
💥Great sequential patch from 1:20 to 4:00. Nice wooden cabinet/rack you made too! I love my 0-Coast, and I usually sequence it with my MiniBrute 2S, but it still sounds very dry by itself. Seems like the Strega is just what the doctor ordered for that problem; no shortage of crazy sounds with that! Despite being expensive, I think it's worth supporting a small American business. 🤔Q: What's the purpose of those holes near the "Automation" knob?
First one sounds like the arrival of the Alien race in War of the Worlds.
Cool. It sounds like my Wavestate after I fed him with my own samples. But I still want the Strega so bad.
That's more than an exercise, that's an impressive piece of music, complete with flow, variation, crescendo, and structure. Well played!
I got impressed with this nice work.
nice work! hoping to add the 0cosst and 0control myself soon. already have the strega. this is certainly helping the decision :)
They definitely compliment each other, and together make a great system. Very happy with my trio of MakeNoise tabletop synths.
@@TheScreamingFrog916 yeah i managed to get hold of the other two just before xmas. great little system as the trilogy, or as additions to a rack!
@@vurttv6415 that’s great. My recommendation for additional gear, if you don’t already have, is lots of those mult stars, for patching, and the ZOOM multi stomp, effects pedal, for final output, to add stereo effects, like chorus, ping pong delay, etc. The Zoom is very powerful for the money, as it allows you to stack multiple effects, and save complex combinations, as presets. Have a great day :-)
Dayum
Really cool, thanks for sharing!
Genius who is unafraid to mix alchemy 👊🏻🍻
This sounds amazing! Can i sample this? :D
loooove the strega! my favorite synth
