This connects loosely to a theory I had about Gregory being sucked into a digital world like an arcade machine. Just wanted to throw that out there.😁

As a Jurassic Park/Worold fan, I was caught off guard hearing “chaos theory” because 1) there’s a Jurassic World show coming with that title and 2) in the original novel Ian Malcom won’t stop talking about how the park gonna crash through chaos theory. Completely useless to the ARG, I just wanted to mention that.

I agree with other peoples explanation of Fatal exception being a reference to the computer error. But if we want to go into some kind of double meaning there could be some kind of circumstance in/around Taylor's life involving a person or a thing being left out. My first thought was the contest losers since they were left out/excepted from winning. But if something else ends up lining up better later that would be cool. The wording feels like it would work better if someone doesn't meet a criteria or isn't accepted by a group and it leads to their death. Just some word thoughts.

Also she seems to mourn him a lot and hate her dad and is almost scared of him kidnapping her - what if the dad kidnapped Gregory and the two were siblings? She seems really scared of her dad and that would explain why she a) hates him and b) has nightmares about him. What if he wanted his kids back so bad he turned to malware and kidnapping their souls to do so? Remnant can have multiple meanings in this theory as well beyond the band if you look at the definition and focus more on symbolism of the definition rather than focusing on the literal band itself.
