I had a Parson's "Terror" for 16 years......he weighed almost 20 lbs with no fat. He was so wild as aa pup I wanted to getb rid of him several times his first 3 years. I would take him to a field everyday and hit tennis balls to wear him out. Turned into my best friend. I loved him with all my heart...he was so loyal

I recently lost two of my older Jackies. It broke my heart and my spirit especially for the oldest that was the runt of her litter. Runt or not, she ruled with an awesome growl. If there was something that she heard (never seeing the source) that sent her into full house alarm. They played hard and slept well. I definitely want just one more so that the solo younger pupper won’t feel alone and maybe mum will feel alive again.

What happend with the dog, I had my Parson terrier for 14 years and 5 month

Our boy Vyv is nearly 3.5 years, here in the UK. I had JRT’s as a child and loved them so when retired went for a PRT as I like the longer legs. OMG what a fantastic boy he is, in every way. I have no affiliation or connection other than buying a dog, but Digaden run by Jane produce wonderful dogs, and Jane is great to deal with. You get honest advice and support from someone who lives for the breed and knows them as well as anyone on the planet. I am sure that everyone who has had a JRT /PRT realises that they are like no other dog. Fiercely intelligent, playful, loyal, athletic but also tenacious, belligerent, and challenging. NEVER BORING ❤
