Hector A. Gerardo, co-founder of SEAmarron Farmstead in Danbury, Connecticut, makes the case that hemp farms can be an important part of climate smart agriculture in the Northeast. But first we have to update regulations so hemp farms can get the same benefits as other small farms, and we need to build the infrastructure for processing the hemp into useful products after harvest. Building Climate Smart Agriculture

For Jesse Goldfarb at Tributary Farm in High Falls, New York, climate smart agriculture means tending to the health of the soil as well as thinking about the farm’s influence on the greater biological, economic, and cultural ecosystems of the region. Community Gardens are Micro-Scale Conservation Efforts

Supporting Farming That Cares

At Ice House Farm in Goshen, Vermont, farmers Morgan Beckwith and Chad Beckwith began by focusing on the health and welfare of their goats. Within a few seasons, they realized what was best for the goats was also better for the soil and the pasture where the goats lived. And it turned out the meat and dairy tasted better too. They make the case for more funding for holistically oriented pasture...

As a hemp farmer who produces CBD on less than 500 sq ft growing seed and fiber hemp is not an option on my farm. I support what you're doing but I don't see where Connecticut can compete with Farms that have hundreds of acres producing the same crop that has their infrastructure to process hemp already in place. A friend of mine cultivates hemp on 300 acres in Colorado and produces over 3 million plants. They obviously can produce hemp products much cheaper in an environment such as. Connecticut does not have the agricultural resources to produce hemp in large enough quantities to be sustainable. Keep up the good work and I hope for the best for you. You have a huge undertaking to try to make this happen in the northeast.

The Earth is cooler with the atmos/GHGs/albedo not warmer. To perform as advertised the GHGs require “extra” energy upwelling from the surface radiating as a black body. (ua-cam.com/video/0Jijw7-YG-U/v-deo.html) The kinetic heat transfer processes of the contiguous atmos molecules render that scenario impossible. No greenhouse effect, no GHG warming, no man/CO2 driven climate change or Gorebal warming.

Beautiful place. I lived near here, lots of wildlife, including Bears and at least one Mountain Lion who took refuge here. That was many years ago ,she may have passed to the Happy Hunting ground by now. Nice video , altho' strangely the music at the end sounds suspenseful like a scary movie just before the bad guy jumps out, lol. Maybe I'm overly critical but I would have made it a little lighter vibed.

I have applied for various positions with Nexamp directly through the website with no success, not even an interview or phone call. It has become abundantly clear that the video I took part in representing opportunities for minorities with Nexamp is a misrepresentation of what really happens at Nexamp.
