These were the Rangers of my youth. You know why they were so good, because they had to be? Septic had phenomenal players, i mean, look at Danny McGrian work!!! Celtic got strong to beat Rangers and won the European Cup because of it, we responed by getting stronger and lifted the European Cup Winners Cup. All this plus Aberdeen and Dundee U from wee Scotland. Truely the good old days.

I was at this game, incredibly nearly 45 years ago. Such a different era. Celtic didn't play well as I recall, had a great view of Miller's winner from the Celtic end and we knew it was game over. Much jubilation from the visitors followed.
